We stayed at Villa Cocobolo for a week with friends. This is a beautiful well appointed house with spectacular views of the ocean and surrounding hillside homes from the magnificent infinity pool and outdoor living area. The four ensuite bedrooms are well furnished with french doors to either the pool area or the lovely upstairs veranda which also overlooks the ocean. A great place to sit in the early morning with coffee or tea and a book or a glass of wine in the evening.
The kitchen is well equipped and opens to a comfortable living/bar area although we spent all our at home time in the pool area.
The house came with a maid who kept the house immaculate and also did our laundry. The concierge, Leslie Sanchez, was very attentive and took us on a day trip to Palo Verde. He was by far our best tour guide during our stay in Costa Rica.
It was an easy 15 minute walk to the beach for breakfast or a walk and there were several good restaurants in the area as well as an excellent grocery store in Coco.
The house is so amazing and the view so spectacular we could easily have spent all our time at home. We definitely hope to return again sometime. -

Stayed one week with three other couples at this fantastic villa. Four bedrooms are all master bedrooms, each opens to an view of the Pacific. Beautiful infinity pool, two outdoor dining areas, great room, upstairs media room, great furnishings, looks brand new. Gated with a night guard and wonderful maid service. Beautiful flowers, birds, and the sounds of the howler monkeys early morning. Highly recommend.

We went to Costa Rica for the first time with my daughter, son and his new bride to share our first "family vacation? together as an extended family. Our expectations were high but the actual home exceeded them greatly. This is really not simply a home; it is more of a private resort without any other guests. Leslie made sure everything was in order and helped us schedule 10 days that combined fun, excitement and relaxation all into one trip. Within close proximity, 1-2 hours maximum, we experiences the canopies, horseback riding, hiking, river tours, spas and whitewater rafting. In-between, we relaxed by our pool, ran down to the beaches and ate meals at our home we will remember forever. Like any small area, there were things to learn but that also added to the adventure. It goes without saying we all recommend this home but only with the fear it may not be available the next time we want the perfect location.
