We stayed in Casa Ilan Ilan for spring break this year - 4 adults, my 28 year old niece and our two girls, ages 11 and 13. The house was beautiful. Spacious bedrooms, large, very well-appointed bathrooms for every bedroom, well-stocked kitchen and abundant outdoor space. The pool was awesome. I think my 11 year old spent more time in the pool than in her bed that week, but we were all in the pool every day. (Note: the jacuzzi is not heated, but you don't need it to be.) The views are stunning, even in the dry season. We checked out a bunch of houses in our neighborhood - ours had the largest outdoor area and the best pool, by far!
This house is also perfectly located. Playa Hermosa is a sleepy little town, but very close to Playa Coco with its more lively (and touristy) action. We all agreed that we'd much rather be in Hermosa as a home base. The house is located within walking distance of the beach, but it is a very steep hill on the way up. For touring we used Mainor Lama at Tours Your Way. He was awesome!
We highly recommend Casa Ilan Ilan and plan to go back.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time in this beautiful home. We had a delicious meal prepared for us by a local chef, massages in our room and tours recommended by the concierge service. We even enjoyed a movie at the theater in the complex. Mostly we were comfortable reading, swimming and watching an impressive array of wildlife from the deck. The area has beautiful beaches to explore and excellent snorkeling right from Playa Hermosa. We were always so happy to get back in time for the magnificent sunsets. Highly recommend this home!

What a way to relax and experience the magic of Costa Rica! A gorgeous house and especially the pool area. We saw parrots and hummingbirds and howler monkeys from the deck. Everything was ready in the house and the service could not have been better. We needed a phone to make local calls and Gus provided one in ten minutes! Tight windows so no bugs and air conditioning in all rooms although we did not need to use it much with the breezes. Fabulous tours with Tico tours and wonderful beaches and snorkeling so close to the house.

First, the folks at Beachfront Properties were great. They helped us have a really amazing trip.
The house was beautiful. The living area was smaller than I expected but honestly, we didn't spend too much time there anyway... mostly just downtime in the evenings for a bit after dinner.
The view from the pool is amazing, sunsets from the pool area were really beautiful. We stopped every evening if we were near the house to enjoy the sunset from the pool area. I would say that was our favorite part of this home.
Service was first rate from Guss our concierge to Karon our house keeper. Everyone was friendly, very willing to help with anything and easy to reach if we needed anything.
It was really more house than we needed for the week. And that was my fault. It was our first trip into Costa Rica so we ended up not being around the house very much because there was so much to do. This house had an awesome outdoor living area so if you had a larger group or stayed around the house more than we did it would be even nicer!

The people in charge of checking you in or are professional and helpful.
The house and outside living area are absolutely beautiful.
The location is 10 min. from CoCo which we like because of the restaurants and night life.
Relaxing at sunset with a cold drink was our favorite thing to do.

I loved staying at Ilan Ilan. The view is mind blowingly beautifully. I could have sat on the terrace or floated in the pool forever staring out at the Pacific. The house is exceedingly clean and comfortable. Every room has a bathroom and overlooks the water. And it's very close to wonderful national parks with many fun things to do and nature to enjoy and participate in, like hiking and swimming and zip lining. The nearby ocean and beach is lovely to swim in and there are great restaurants. And if support is needed from management (I misplaced the key), they are right there on the premises, easy and pleasant to deal with, happy to help.
