Beautiful Location. The house was amazing. It was a very quiet area with a short drive or a nice walk to the beach. We were also able to take several day trips out for hiking and a river cruise. Kathy, the housekeeper, was very nice and polite.
We picked this location because of the view and the patio. We brought our families, 2 sets of parents and 86 year old grandmother, and got married right out on the patio. We could not have asked for a better setting. It turned out to be a perfect night as we got married right at sunset. We also highly recommend Mario's for dinner at least one night. We had our wedding dinner with them and it was truly a great experience.

We chose Hermosa Beach for our Christmas vacation because it was very convenient to Liberia airport, a 20 minute drive, where we could fly nonstop from the U.S. We are a family of 5 adults, two daughters and a new son in law. Everyone found the house comfortable, beautifully designed and laid out, All of the three bedrooms faced the sea, and my husband and I loved the master suite on the second floor with the private balcony. The kitchen had all the appliances we needed and we enjoyed cooking and eating on the patio by the pool with an ocean view. We would watch the sunset from the jacuzzi. Our housekeeper was friendly and efficient and even cooked some tica (Costa Rican) dishes for us - rice, beans, and fish.
Gus, our concierge, was very helpful and quickly filled our requests. The house is located in a gated community with 24 hour guard service The development is beautiful in that the houses are located on large lots and Nube Neve is on its own hillside and very private. It is an advantage renting with Beachfront Properties, because Jeff is able to compare and contrast the houses they represent finding a good match for us Hermosa Beach is popular with Costa Ricans and tourists alike and we enjoyed the banana boat ride and also taking a local boat for a snorkeling excursion. We also drove to other beaches and took an excursion at Guachipilin Ranch at Rancon de la Vieja. The location is excellent in northern Guancaste because we could do a lot of sightseeing and beaching from Hermosa Beach. We were in the house for ten days, and really hated to leave, who wouldn't Rent it and enjoy.

We have used Beachfront Properties for two years in a row now, last year we rented Azulonda and this year we rented Nube Nueve. Beachfront Properties www.beachfront-cr.com are very easy to work with and the concierge Gus will help you with anything you may need during your stay.
Both vilas were perfect for our needs, clean, in very good condition, safe (gated community)with comfortable beds and furniture. Nube Nueve is like a new villa, spacious for three couples, refreshing pool, great patio with beautiful ocean and sunset views. It is a short walk to the beach, restaurants/bars and grocery stores.
If you are thinking of renting a villa in the Playa Hermosa area take a look at Beachfront Properties website they provide great villas and service. -

The week we spent at Nube Nueve was fantastic! It actually was not our original intention to stay there. We were going to spend a week in a resort but two weeks before we were to arrive the resort closed for major remodel. Scrambling to find a place for eight adults for the week my wife and daughter came across Nube Nueve. It was meant to be. From the intial arrangements for rental to the use of the concierge service available everything went smoothly.
The house is spacious and beautiful easily accomodating our eight adults. Sitting half way up hillside in a gated subdivision you get a scenic view of the countryside and Playa Hermosa. Plenty of outdoor space around your own swimming pool and hot tub. Most of the rooms large and well lit except for the tv entertainment room. Housekeeping and pool maintenance were very dependable and friendly.
We took advantage of the concierge services available. Guss Mora handled everything for us. We would tell him what we were interested in doing and he would make arrangements for it to happen the next day. From the all day zip line adventure to the river boat ride to the last evening sunset cruise everything was taken care of all we had to do was enjoy. And boy did we enjoy!
We were fortunate to have the same tour guide for both of our full day excursions. Rafael went above and beyond just taking us on trips. He made us feel like extended family. After one of our all day adventures we were talking about a nice cup of coffee he made a phone call to La Gran Nicoya a family owned gift shop that dries their own gourmet coffee beans. They waited for us to get to the store even though it was past their closing time and were very hospitable to us. It became an everyday stop while we were there.
So yes I would highly recommend the house and the area. One thing we ran into and had been forewarned about is power outages. We had one while we were there but they are very short.
Can't wait to go back!
