Washington, DCI plan to stay here againa and again.
Left on 03/15/2013 for a stay in March 2013
This house was perfect for us. I highly recommend it. From the first morning at dawm that I woke up to a stunning view, I knew I had chosen the right place. The house is comfortable, spacious and beautifully decorated. They have taken great care of the property as well. Inside and out. Most mornings we walked to the beach, but you can also drive. The pool has built in stools and plenty of patio furniture. We plan to return to Costa Rica again, and I will use this property if available. There is another house right beside it, but the layout is such that privacy is not an issue. If I had one negative to say it would be that I didn't want to leave. Thank you to the caretakers who do such a splendid job of keeping this property in tip top shape, and the rental company went above and beyond great service.

DoylestownUnexpected, incredible tropical vacation!
Left on 03/12/2012 for a stay in February 2012
Costa Rica proved to be a wonderful cultural and environmental experience. The local residents are fantastic, caring, knowledgeable and engaging. This Villa had everything, sparkling, spacious, secure, and a wonderful view of the Pacific, plus your own Howler monkey family in the trees. We loved just spending time at the villa in the pool, swimming, sunbathing, reading, etc.
Local restaurants were excellent, fresh fish, fruits, vegetables, fantastic personal service. Daytrips to a volcano, thermal spa, Tempesque River Tour to the tropical rainforest a must! Wonderful winter getaway! -

PhiladelphiaWe had a fabulous vacation at Casa Catalina.
Left on 03/10/2012 for a stay in February 2012
We would highly recommend Casa Catalina for a fabulous vacation. The house is beautifully decorated, very clean, and comfortable. Poolside views of the ocean and sunsets are spectacular and the beach is close by. The staff provided us with a wealth of information about the area, even assisting us with a car rental. Playa Hermosa is a lovely little town with great restaurants, a convenient market, and shops in close proximity to the house. The location was great for planning day trips to enjoy the beauty of Costa Rica, and there is even a reasonably priced golf course nearby, which was an unexpected surprise. Whether you are a sports lover, a nature lover or just love to relax, this is a great vacation destination.

St. Petersburg, FLGreat House & Great Location!
Left on 05/06/2010 for a stay in April 2010
My wife and I spent a week at the house in April and it was fantastic. The house was beautiful, the pool was great, and the view was amazing (especially the sunset). It was a short walk to the beach and many restaurants. There are also lots of adventure tours nearby....we went on a fishing trip, travelled to the volcanic hot springs, went white water rafting, and did the canopy tour (zipline). We will definitely stay here again on our next visit and highly recommend it to anyone. The house is large and will comfortably accommodate plenty of people.

This is a beautifully designed house. It is very comfortable and well equiped whether you are staying there for just a few days, or for weeks. Restaurants and bars are close by and the adventurous tours we went on picked us right up at the house. The only thing you might want to consider is renting a car unless you plan on staying at the house most of the time.

Left on 04/22/2010 for a stay in April 2009
The home is beautiful and well appointed. I loved the view from the pool and is
was so clever to have seats installed in the pool. so one can eat lunch in the
pool. The maintenance man was very helpful and quickly met our wishes. Each
bedroom had their own full bath so it was very easy to have 3 couples in the
home. The appliances were very good quality as were the furnishings. The
town was within walking distance and the restaurants in the area were great. A
larger town was very easy to find. The owner suggested a guide to take us to
various places and he was very helpful. We rented a car and found it very easy
to get around. My sister and I felt very safe walking to the beach by ourselves.
Costa Rica is a very nice country, very clean and many of it's residents are
working. Of all the Central American countries that I have visited, I like Costa
Rica the best. -

The most amazing trip I've ever taken. Four of us stayed at Villa Aurelia for a week and every day was something new and amazing. The beaches, the tours, the food, the sunsets, the house; everything went beyond our expectations and all the while Charlie gave us peace of mind. The Villa had everything a home should and more, and local businesses provide the needs of any vacation. I can't imagine there's a better tour guide than Bernal out there. He answered every question we had about Costa Rica, and took care of our every want and need we asked of him at a very reasonable rate. Bernal really goes beyond and gives a first class service. If Costa Rica is the destination, Villa Aurelia is the place to stay.

What a great place for a vacation. This is a spectacular, bannd new home overlooking the Pacific Ocean. The owner has provided everything you need to have a fun and relaxing time. The interior is beautiful and well apointed. It's a convenient location - close to the Airport and numerous trips and excursions around the country as well as a very short walk to the beach. It's everything I hoped for and more.

Left on 02/19/2010 for a stay in July 2009
A group of us got together to celebrate my birthday July 4th weekend. The home was beautiful and comfortable. The caretaker, Charlie, was a wonderful host. Bernal, the concierge was a wonderful guide, and made us feel well taken care of. The home was a 5 minute walk to the beach, and was nice and quiet, which is exactly what we were looking for. The best thing about our vacation was the location...close enough to the jumping night life, but far enough to enjoy the quiet.
