Playa Hermosa is just 20 minutes West of Liberia International Airport (LIR), and is located in the Papagayo Gulf. Playa Coco is our neighboring beach to the south. The houses do not have postal addresses in Costa Rica, just physical descriptions (crazy, I know), so Villa Las Palmas is located in the first entrance, just before Villas Del Sueno. We are only 300 meters from the Pacific Ocean.

Brought our college aged children along with a couple of their friends and had a great time! The Villa was perfect for a large family and 1 block to the beach.Villa Las Palmas is very nicely decorated and the kitchen overlooking the large family room was a great gathering spot for the group!

Everything about our stay at "Villa Las Palmas" was just terrific. We were close to a small market and a walk away from the beach. Jeff and Rainie our hosts made sure all that we asked for was there at the villa before our arrival. The gentleman who is the caretaker at the property (Bernal) is also the head of a great tour company called Tico tours. We booked all our adventures with him and he and his staff were absolutely great. We would recommend this rental properties to anyone looking to discover the beautiful Guanacaste region of Costa Rica...

We had an incredible time in Playa Hermosa on our honeymoon using the Villa las Palmas as our home base. The location and amenities (especially the pool) made for a relaxing trip. Several good restaurants in the area made it easy to find great meals with fresh, local ingredients (wonderful fruits, veggies and seafood especially). It was also a pleasant surprise that so many locals speak English fluently, and that us Dollars were accepted everywhere we went. Bernal, the manager of the house, arranged our transportation, an adventure tour and even a private chef to make an authentic Costa Rican dinner one evening for us. Each of these was reasonably priced and we would gladly not only recommend the property, but also taking full advantage of Bernal's tours and services while staying there.
