THE CONDO
Top quality! From the design, through the construction and all the way to the furnishings, the condo is first class. Comfortable linens and bedding on all beds. Large bedrooms, each with full bath and closet. A spacious, full kitchen overlooking the living and dining areas, perfect for entertaining friends and family. A huge terrace with amazing ocean and beach views that has outdoor sitting and dining areas to just sit back and relax or enjoy a meal.
THE LOCAL AREA
Playa Carrillo, at the base of the hill is a pristine, palm lined beach… it is undeveloped and is a quiet place for a beach walk or just to throw down a towel and enjoy the sun. Restaurants lie just south at the end of the beach as well as a few small businesses and grocery stores.
Playa Samara, a short seven minutes drive is where all the action is… an active beach town that is full of tourist shops, cafes, local tour operators, surf and kayak rentals etc.. There are several fine dining restaurants to check out as well as plenty of places with local cuisine that have great food and atmosphere. Beachfront restaurants, bars and discos rest under the palms lining this gorgeous beach. There are numerous grocery stores stocked with local fresh fruits, vegetables, meats and fish as well as great bakeries as well.

Absolutely amazing - 9,000 sq. ft. infinity pool surrounded by nature, stunning beach and ocean views with year-round sunsets. Lush jungle drapes below to the Pacific while dense green mountains backdrop the development. Two lit tennis courts - tennis equipment is available in the office as well as fishing gear. A fresh water lake stocked with tilapia, guapote (a tropical bass) and fresh water shrimp. There are three, very nice lake ranchos that have large stainless steel grills, dining areas and a small workout facility.

Service and hospitality are unrivaled anywhere in the world. These luxury condos are stunning in design, appeal and convenience.
We have historically made it a trip for a marriage retreat, but are bringing the kids this year. The perfect playground for relaxation or the busy body who likes to explore. -

Las Ventanas was a perfect venue for our vacation. We have actually visited several times and are always impressed by the dramatic ocean view, the beautiful grounds and the fantastic infinity pool.
Going down to Samara is great as there are a lot of quality restaurants to choose from and the surfing is only a short scenic drive. All in all, I would highly recommend a family or group to experience Costa Rica at Las Ventanas. -

Beautiful!!! The views and sunsets are breath taking. Grounds are immaculate. Pool is the best I have ever seen - it is huge with an under water wall separating the shallow from deep end - perfect for kids!
The condo was gorgeous - we did not want to go back home!!!
The local area has great restaurants, friendly people and plenty to do. With it being a condo resort and not a "full service resort"- You can be as low key or adventurous as you choose.
Can not wait to go back! -

We have vacationed in Guanacaste for 4 years. We have always rented private luxury homes with infinity pools. At first we had our reservations about renting a condo but Las Ventanas seemed very nice. Our concerns were put to bed within a couple of days of arriving.
The small number of units keeps the place very intimate.
As nice as the website depicts the property to be, it is even nicer. The condos are luxurious, the pool is phenomenal and the people who own, operate and work at the property were all top notch. Everyone there was very accommodating and friendly and we made friends with many of them, particularly while watching the outrageous sunsets at the pool every evening. The view from the pool and from the condos is breathtaking.
The grounds are perfect, the location is exceptional as it it truly a Costa Rican experience, without the over development that is common further north. At the same time it is near the villages of Samara and Carrillo where great restaurants abound, also near great surfing, fishing and any other activity you would expect to pursue in Costa Rica.
The unit was 3 bedrooms and 3.5 baths and was very clean and nicely furnished and decorated. We were very comfortable.
We stayed for 5 weeks. Usually, when we stay somewhere 5 weeks, we start to notice all of the things that are wrong with it but we never
found anything wrong and did not want to leave. We plan to return next winter for at least as long as this winter.
We are a couple in our 50's and traveled with our son, who is a college student and an avid surfer.
It would be difficult to say what we liked best about Las Ventanas. It was the most satisfying place we have stayed in Guanacaste and can honestly say, there was nothing we didn't like, and we have always stayed in extraordinary properties.
