How to Get Here
The Liberia Airport is serviced by a variety of major airlines and is the preferred airport for anyone travelling to Playa del Coco and to Tropical Felgate's vacation villas. We are only 15 miles from the airport. Delta, Continental, American, United and other charter airlines travel to Costa Rica direct into the Liberia International Airport from the U.S. If you do choose to fly into San Jose, it is recommended to take a hopper flight into Liberia; these connector flights take approximately 45 minutes (compared to 4 hours by car) and are affordable.
Driving Directions
1. From Liberia International Airport, turn right from the airport and follow the signs toward Playa Del Coco (also known as El Coco).
2. After passing the "Do It" store (approximately 19 kilometers from the airport), you will see street signs to Playa Del Coco. Turn right here (onto Rt. 151 which may or may not be marked).
3. Continue on Rt. 151 toward Playa Del Coco another 6 kilometers until reaching downtown El Coco (but before the beach). Turn right on Chorrera, on the corner between The Lizard and Zouk Santana night clubs.
4. Continue on Chorrera toward El Pueblito Shopping Center (also watch for signs for La Dolce Vita restaurant located in El Pueblito). Tropical Felgate's office is located on the left from El Pueblito Shopping Center within Green Forest Studio community on the first floor – Unit No 13.

We throughly enjoyed our stay at Calas Rojas #1 from May 18-May 26, 2012.
The condo was beautifully decorated with the living room table and the beds designed from the native guanacaste trees. Each room had its own TV and there is a LCD TV in living room. The patio has a large table to use for eating and entertaining. The neighbors were very friendly and helped entertain us with the best happy hours.
Two bikes are provided for cruising the beach and the town of Coco. The beach is just a 3 minute walk with great sunsets. if you prefer the pool to the ocean the pool is just a few steps outside our door.
We definely plan on returning.

This 2br 2ba first floor unit was immaculate when we arrived. It has an in-unit washer/dryer which was great for drying towels, bathingsuits, and boat wear. It is easy walking to a small grocery store and great smoothy cafe as well as two wonderfull beachfront bar/restaurants. A little farther walk down the road lands you in the center of Coco for any food, fun, or larger grocery stores and souvenir places you're looking for. We walked across the street to the beach to take catamaran rides, watched howler monkeys and iguanas from the patio, and cooled off in the pool at sunset. Everyone we met at this cozy complex was very friendly and helpful and happy to share local knowledge and activity ideas. Renting this vacarion unit was a great way to sample the relaxing pleasures Costa Rica has to offer..

we have received a very good service from the tropical felgate staff and the condo was very comfortable,all the amenities was ok except we missed a bigger table outside.
