This villa was absolutely gorgeous. It was in the most perfect location. Located within the gated and very exclusive community of Terres Basses, we could literally walk to Plum Bay Beach within 2 to 3 minutes. And unlike a lot of the villas in Terres Basses, we didn't have to walk down or back up a huge hill to get to the beach. It was a nice, easy walk right down the road. The outside area was huge and absolutely gorgeous. You can't exactly see the ocean from the villa because there are so many trees in the way, but the sunset is still amazing. The pool was very large. All of the bedrooms were gorgeous - the master bathroom was huge. The living areas and kitchen are all open air - so no air conditioning, but if you open the windows in both sides of the house, there is an amazing cross breeze. One wall of the kitchen is like a "garage door" and actually opens up to behind the bar that's outside. It was lovely. The caretaker lived directly underneath the villa, which made me feel quite safe - although I felt safe regardless since the community had 24/7 guards at the front gate. The caretakers introduced themselves, but were very respectful of our privacy which was nice of them. The housekepper, Gretta, was absolutely amazing also.
