We were fortunate to have 3 days of 80 degree weather before the rain came. My mom and really enjoyed the rain storm as we cozied up with tea and conversation. Then a couple more days of 70's.
My family who lives in the area came to visit with small children and we just had a blast. We were able to watch the really small ones in the grassy area, the older children climb rocks and walk the beach. We were able to grill as well as enjoy morning coffee and breakfast most mornings on the deck.
The house and its contents are modest, but extremely comfortable. This place has just about everything you could think of other than your toiletry items and food. Everything is gently used which we feel adds to the charm of this beach house. My family even enjoyed a set of binoculars thoughtfully provided.
Thoroughly enjoyed and hope to go again! -

The location was great but there were a few maintenance problems discovered on our arrival. There were plumbing problems and the TV/Cable access was faulty. Also, the access to the house and beach was very difficult for my 80+ year old Mom. There was no way to enter/leave the house wihout stairs/steps. The beach access was not well maintained and it was very difficult for my mother to navigate the rocks. We tried to use a neighbors' access as it appeared more "elderly friendly" but the neighbor complained so we discontinued that approach.
That said, we were the first renters of the season so it was understandable the maintenance issues were not discovered until we arrived. However, the property manager did compensate us for the deficiencies when advised of the problems encountered. The kitchen could use an upgrade as well. That said, the location was great and aside from minor problems, we had a wonderful time! -

This is a cape-style house in a quiet neighborhood. It was clean and well furnished with everything you need including linens and beach towels.The new deck was perfect for relaxing with a glass of wine and watching the ocean waves and the sunset, and there was always a refreshing breeze coming in off the water. There is easy access to the beach right at the end of the lawn. The third bedroom on the second floor of the house was basically an unfinished attic with 5 twin beds which is fine for kids. We really enjoyed our stay.

I stayed here over Memorial Day weekend with my boyfriend plus another couple and their two kids. The set-up was great - there is a living room with ocean view, pullout queen sized bed, flat screen tv, and full bath downstairs which allowed a measure of privacy for us, and then two bedrooms and full bath upstairs which was perfect for their family.
There is also a fully-stocked kitchen, living room, and large deck on the main floor, overlooking a long, grassy yard that leads out to a huge, sandy beach. The view is gorgeous, and it's the perfect spot to grill with the family, play lawn games, stroll the beach, or just sit quietly in the sun.
The home was magnificently clean, and stocked with extra beach towels & linens. There is also a washer/dryer in the basement if you need to do laundry. It's a short walk to a small general store for staples, and a short drive into downtown Plymouth for the shops, art galleries, restaurant, bars, and of course all the historic sites.
I hope to get back here again this Summer! -

Spending the night in this house with my family and a couple of friends was great. The house was very comfortable, clean, and cozy for both the adults and young kids. The deck was perfect for enjoying fantastic view and for keeping kiddos safe and sound so everyone could fully relax and enjoy the beautiful location. The Beach in front of the house was ideal for walking and exploring with kiddos even though the water was very cold. We could have spent numerous days at this house and hope to do so in the future as the comfort, ease, and beauty of this cool house and wonderful location satisfied us way beyond our initial expectations

The location of this property is unrivaled. You are literally steps from arguably the nicest beach on the South Shore. The downstairs is recently renovated and the home comfortably accommodates 6. There are five additional single beds on the top, unfinished floor, which would work well for kids, so in total the home can definitely accommodate 10-11.
Highlights:
- Beautiful new deck with comfortable patio furniture
- Steps from beach.. literally
- Quite neighborhood
- Pull couch on bottom floor has a brand new mattress and is comfortable. I usually hate pull out mattresses, but this one truly felt like a normal bed.
