In our 7th year we are fortunate to receive guests from all the US and many foreign countries. One hour to Boston (via commuter rail or car), Rhode Island, Martha's Vineyard, Nantucket Island Ferries or Provincetown. This spacious vacation home, located at 10 Hillside Dr., Plymouth, MA, in OceanAire Estates, an exclusive residential ocean community, has panoramic views of and direct access to a private beach on Cape Cod Bay, only 300 ft away.

This house was just what I was looking for this December - a comfortable home with a view of the ocean, where my mother could spend her 80th birthday visiting with all four of her grown children. The owner was very accommodating and flexible, which was very much appreciated given the complexity of gathering together all the different members of our party. The five reserved parking spaces were much appreciated as well!
While the photo of the ocean currently shown in the listing is actually taken from on the beach, rather than from inside the house, the owner readily provided me with additional pictures. The kitchen, dining room, and living room all face the ocean, and the windows make the best use of the view.
A unique aspect of the house is that each bedroom is on a different level, which allowed us to each have our own space. The kitchen/dining room is also on a different level than the living room, but it worked out fine, especially since the living room was so relaxing and pleasant with its vaulted ceiling, comfortable couches, fireplace and piano.
We all thoroughly enjoyed our December-weekend, family-reunion style birthday party and would stay at this home again for another such occasion. Hopefully next time we'll get to make use of the wonderful patio with grill, two balconies, and large yard.

The OceanView home was the perfect setting for our family's gathering over Thanksgiving. The layout allowed us to enjoy being all together in the spacious living room or dining room, or to break off in smaller groups without tripping over or shouting over each other. The well appointed kitchen allowed us to prepare a home-cooked Thanksgiving dinner. The view of the ocean was breathtaking, and the baby grand piano was a delightful bonus. When our sons were growing up our home was filled with music. Now that they are grown and one lives 1,000 miles away, having them under one roof, playing the piano (often 2 at a time) is time to be cherished. The cost was no more than what we would have paid for 4 separate rooms in a passable hotel, and we got infinitely more - a real home away from home where we could bring together our sons, daughters-in-law, and grandchildren, enjoying our time together from sitting around the breakfast table to ending the evening around the piano, with a fire in the fireplace. Everything was provided for our comfort, and the owner could not have been more accommodating.

We had a great time at the Ocean View at Cape Cod. We were met by the owner, he showed us all that we needed to know about the house. The house was perfect for us, 3 couples and we each had our own bedroom & bath. We stayed 3 nights and traveled to Boston, Cape Cod, Martha's Vineyard, West Yarmouth, perfect location. Beautiful Sunsets!

From the moment you pull up the this charming house you will be astounding by the splendor of its view of Plymouth Sound, which is the dominant view from all the public rooms. The living room is open and spacious while being comfortable and cozy and sports breathtaking views (particularly of the sunrise over the water - worth waking up early to catch this). The kitchen is modern, sunny, clean, and opens onto a spacious deck with water views and a gas grill. The bedrooms are all cozy and comfortable. Best of all, the owner is a caring gentleman who will ensure that every aspect of your stay exceeds your expectations. I cannot recommend this home more highly.

This home is a great place to stay. My group and I have been there twice, and each time we have had a great experience. The owner of the home is very kind and flexible at to your group's needs. The home is always clean and well equipped. It is conveniently located about an hour from Boston, and it is literally only steps from the beach (although my group and I have not really been on the beach since we went to the house in the off season). I would highly recommend this place as a vacation spot!
