Summerwind is a comfortable Saltwater-view get-away in the charming seaside village of Pocasset. Within the village is Patuisset Island, an undiscovered corner of "Olde Cape Cod".
Perfect for a family or couples. Enjoy being on "Island Time", yet close to all Cape activities.
Take a 5 min stroll to a sandy saltwater BEACH.

Patuisset Island is accessible by car and only 1 hour to Boston, 45 min to Prov. RI. 1 hr to Newport RI & 5 min to the Bourne Bridge. 5 minute walk past a cranberry bog or ride the tandem bike to a Sandy Saltwater BEACH. Biking is a pleasure without the traffic of the lower Cape. Fish from the jetty or beachcomb for sand dollars, starfish and seashells. Launch your boat at the nearby ramp for water access to the open ocean of Buzzards Bay. 15 min. drive to the Martha's Vineyard Ferry for a day trip. Hop aboard a Whale Watch Cruise, Cape Cod Canal tour or Lobster dinner cruise. Golf at nearby 18 hole Brookside Club. Bike, walk or rollerblade the 7 mile Cape Cod Canal trail or the island circle. Kayak out to Bassett's Island for a picnic.Crack a lobster at the famous Chart Room & Lobster Trap.The VERY BEST ICE CREAM at Somerset Creamery.
