Some friends and I had been traveling to CI Cigarfest at Split Rock resort for the past couple years. The hotel in Wilkes-Barre was ok the first year but some issues the second year led me to search for other accomodations.
I hit the jackpot when I found Paw Prints in the Poconos. First and foremost, Jill was an absolute pleasure to deal with. She happily answered all my questions and addressed all my concerns.
The house was perfect for our needs. 3 bedrooms with a loft area to be used as an otional 4th. The house was well furnished and very clean. Linens were supplied and there was plenty of firewood. We made good use of the nice backyard and enjoyed having our cigars around the firepit every night after steaks and burgers on the grill.
The off season rate worked out much cheaper than the hotel. Plus we also saved on food by eating in as opposed to dining out every day. Everything we needed as far as grocery stores, liquor stores, restaraunts, etc. were within a 15 minute drive. Bigger stores, like Super Wal-Mart were only 30 minutes. There are some nice golf courses in the area and we'll be looking into doing some fishing next year.
Our experience was enjoyable in every way. It was so much more relaxing staying in a home as opposed to being in a hotel for a week. We knew the first day that we would be wanting to come back next year. -

Took a quick getaway with my wife and dog,and we coudnt have asked for more of a perfect place.Comfortable,warm and cozy,and the owner was sooo hospitable and took great care into making our stay Perfect! Thanks soo much Jill and we look forward to our next stay!

The owner is super nice and very accommodating. The house was super clean, very comfortable and had eveything we needed. Great location to get away and relax. Pet friendly was a huge plus. The kids loved the lake and playing games at the Welcome Center. We really enjoyed our stay, highly recommend this rental and will definietly be staying here in the future.

The house is beautiful, warm and cozy. We had a wonderful stay with our family and dog. It is very pet friendly We would highly recommend this house to our friends and family. The rooms were large and inviting. We would like to go back in the summer and experience what the Poconos has to offer.

Had a wonderful time and the 12 inches of snow we got on our first night there made it even better. The house was perfect for our two families. The kids loved the loft area and the adults loved the fireplace. Very cozy! Thanks for Everything! Will definitley be checking into another weekend!

My communications with the owner was very pleasent and true to their words. I was very well informed and pleased with the instruction manual of how to operate different items in the house for my use like the fireplace and how warm and cozy it was.
The house is layed out very nice and plenty of room for all.
The area is a secure gated community with security patrols.
