Three Bedroom First Floor Apartment Poggibonsi

Tresor GG is on a working farm situated in a lovely elevated position with fine views of the countryside all around. The apartment has its? own area in the grounds with table and chairs for relaxing or dining al fresco and there is a swimming pool for guests use. The farm provides simple accommodation with a welcoming family atmosphere and is a great base from which to explore Tuscany.

The estate, which specialises in producing wine and olive oil, consists of the main farmhouse which dates back to the 17th Century the surrounding farm buildings which have been restored and now form f...ive apartments and eight rooms all furnished in simple Tuscan rural style. The owners have added a pretty swimming pool and there is plenty more space in the grounds for relaxing.

Tresor farm estate is in an elevated position in the hills above the modern town of Poggibonsi, known as the crossroads of Tuscany due to its excellent location between the art cities of Florence and Siena and close to famous medieval San Gimignano and the wonderful Chianti area.

Tresor GG on the first floor, is simply furnished in a mixture of modern and rural styles. It consists of a spacious living room with kitchen area, dining table and chairs, settee and television. There are two double bedrooms, a triple bedroom with three single beds, and two shower rooms. In the grounds of the estate the apartment has its? own area with table and chairs for dining al fresco, or just relaxing whilst enjoying the atmosphere of Tuscany.

Close by in the grounds is a lovely swimming pool (15m x 8m) set into the side of a hill overlooking the town and surrounding countryside, perfect for a lazy afternoon sunbathing or a cooling dip after a busy days? sightseeing.

The estate produces its own wine and olive oil all of which is available for purchase at the farm shop. The friendly owners also organise breakfast on request (payable locally), and there is a laundry room with washing machine and barbeque for guests use. Parking is in the grounds close to the apartment.

Less than 2km down the road is the town of Poggibonsi with its supermarkets, shops and road and rail links to Florence and Siena making Tuscany?s major sights easily accessible. It is just 14km to the medieval town of San Gimignano with its historic monuments and many local craft shops, and it?s a joy to leisurely drive through the wonderful Chianti countryside.

Tresor is a good choice for those seeking simple farm accommodation and a rural atmosphere in a great location to use as a base for visiting Tuscany.
