Our stay at Villa Samsara in St. Barth\'s exceeded our expectations, and our expectations were pretty high. Right from the start our initial contact with the SiBarth rep, the car rental already taken care of, being taken to the Villa and shown how everything works, and lastly suggestions of what to do and where to go from first hand experience of the rep, was all done with professionalism and a smile. Every time we needed reservations, time we wanted the cleaning person to come, how something worked in the Villa, you name it, a SiBarth rep was no more than a phone call away. Everything was better than how we had imagined. The villa was more beautiful than the way we had envisioned it looking at the pictures on the Internet. We can\'t wait to go back. We felt si much at home in terms of comfort but it was also so much like a dream in the way everything was so well thought out and designed. It was hard to come back to real life. The villa was designed and decorated tastefully with a breathtaking view, it was kept cleaned and well-maintained with nice plants and everything functioning properly.

At first I was nervous about staying all the way out in Pointe Milou my feeling was it was away from everything and I wanted to be in the mix. As a compromise with my now husband we decided to split our trip up and stay 4 nights in one villa and 4 nights in another. We divided our time between Samara and Sunny Dreams (downtown Gustavia) this ended up being a smart move so we could experience both but hands down if we come back we would stay at Samara the whole trip!! The villa is perch on a hill top overlooking the Caribbean and the Christopher hotel. It is very nicely furnished with great aC in the bedroom! Being on our honeymoon we loved the privacy it offered along with the infinity pool. It's important to note however driving in St. barts is very tricky, full of insanely steep hills that include turns with little visibility. So if you do choose to stay outside of a larger populated area you will need to drive. In walking distance to Samasara are the Christopher hotel and Le Ti ( hotel/restaurants). Also in close driving proximity are the grocery, bakery and two of the best (in my opinion) beaches St. brats has to offer, Saline and St. Jean.
I wld recommend aMa to anyone looking to relax with great views and great atmosphere. -

The villa had been recomended by friends, very picky friends, who had stayed there before so we had a sense of the quality. The pictures on the web site can sometimes be a bit misleading so having the personal reference was good.
