C est avec deux autres familles que nous avions passé notre séjour en guadeloupe. Une famille logeait pendant une semaine dans un bungalow jumelé, lizzavé et geccko,avec 2 chambres séparées, amusant, la douche à l extérieur du bungalow. La propriété cloturée, se trouve un peu en retrait de la nationale, très au calme, avec une très belle vue mer, dans un beau jardin. Une belle allée avec différentes plantes de l île menait du parking ,vers nos bungalows. Un peu plus loin dans le jardin se trouvait le spa , qui fût la joie exclusive de nos enfants. La piscine entourée de magnifiques arbustes d orchidées était également un endroit recherché. Nos enfants se sont amusés avec les deux gentils chats et ont pu apprendre beaucoup de détails sur la vie de cette île, bien informés par les proriétaires. Nous avions également partagé un repas avec chris et georges chez rositte, un bon petit lolo loin des civilisations. Les personnes non- inscrites pour un séjour ne sont pas admis sur la propriété, dans un certain sens très rassurant, côté sécurité. Il y a deux autres appartements qui sont plus spacieux, mais nous étions très satisfaits. En tout cas : des vacances réussites avec des moments très intenses, côté nature.. Nous recommandons ce petit domaine à tous les amoureux de la nature.

La natura selvaggia della Bassa Terra si presenta in tutta la sua bellezza.
I consigli dei proprietari sono utilissimi per scegliere le attrazioni e la gastronomia nella regione.
Bellissima piscina inserita in un quadro idilliaco, al centro della tenuta.
Le spiaggie più belle si trovano a circa 15 minuti di auto. -

Im Juni 2 Wochen auf Domaine Lizardy in Bungalow Gecko. Ab dem ersten Kontakt bis zur abreise, hatte alles bestens und unkompliziert geklappt. Hinführende Strasse in gutem Zustand ,doch viele Kurven.Die Wohnungen sind sauber und bestens ausgestattet, liegen alle uneinsehbar von andern Gästen, in einem tropischen Garten , ebenso Schwimmbad und Whirlpool. Chris ist ein Super Reiseführer, hält die besten adressen der Insel bereit, Georges der lokale Barkeeper, der gute Rumpunchs zaubert. Die Basse Terre hat viel Erlebnisreiches zu bieten, Schnorcheln und Wandern sind Highlights. Eigentlich sollten wir die adresse dieser beiden geheimhalten, doch Domaine Lizardy gehört unser grosses Lob, wir hatten tatsächlich einen unvergesslichen Urlaub, herzlich, bereicherrnd und doch diskret. We rented a confortable bungalow, overlooking the carribean sea. From there on a sunday we where lucky to watch whale and dolphin migration.
From bungalow and poolside we had movie-like-sunsets.
First time we tried sea-cicadas and crayfish, delightly prepared by the owner, who also shoved us for preparing the local products.
Small town Pointe Noire few minutes away with supermarkets, fine bakery and butcher, as well as fruit and veges from locals.
Chris's top secret tips always leaded us to mostly undiscovered areas along quiet beaches, or rainforest trails with hot bath, and more...
Few steps from lizardy, a gorgous bay for diving, where we crossed large turtles, colorfull fishes and more.
We recommand lizardys for a stay in guadeloupe and thanks to chris for charing her paradise.

J'ai habiter avec mon ami à la domaine lizardy 5 jours en mars 2012, avec ma cousine Claire de métropole qui avait réserver là pour 11 jours.
Je suis de grande- terre et j'étais surppris de découvrir autant de beau paysages en basse-terre. Nous avons fais beaucoups de randonnés et plongés aussi. A ce temps là, beaucoups de restaurants à grande-anse étaient fermer. Nous avons manger très bon dans le restaurant mahinia à deshaies, chez rosette et dans le restaurant grill tamarinla à pointe noire,
Mme chriss la propriétaire de la domaine de lizardy était très gentil et nous a aussi inviter pour l apéritif. La piscine était très bien et propre et le jacuzi aussi.l'appartement était très propre et grand et le jardin aussi et les chats sont mignon. Je pense que aussi pour les locaux c' est une bonne adresse pour la basse-terre pour passé des petites vacances

très beau séjour dans une nature calme, la prorpiétaire vous guide vers des destinations peu connues hors des adresses du tourisme commun, petits restos extras dans quartiers locaux, plages et ballades le long des rivières sauvages et des bains dans les eaux du volcan. petite plage juste à côté pour pmt. quelle belle adresse crée juste pour se détendremerci à chris

Un séjour de 2 semaines au domaine lizardy nous a rendu possible d'exploiter les plus beaux coins de la guadeloupe, grace aux indications de notre hôte chris.
Notre bungalow était situé face à la mer dans la propriété luxuriante, piscine et jacuzzi pour le plaisir et la détente après les randonnées et plongées.
Le logement était très agréable, propre avec belle déco, grande terrasse avec un salon et cuisine bien arrangée,chambres bien ventilées, douche à l' extérieur, ( un + ).
Des plats préparés par maîtresse du domaine, prêt pour le barbecue nous attendaient le soir.
Joyeuse rencontre avec les autres vacanciers autour des punchs maison de lizardy.
Une expérience pour la découverte de la guadeloupe à recommander à tout amoureux de la nature -

This is truly a great headquarter for stay while visiting Guadeloupe.
Very confortable accomodations, gorgeous views from all ower a large flowerd garden,
a nice poll and jaccuzzi bath.
Owners always accessible with helpfull recommandations for exploring the island.
We certainly will come back. -

we have been lodging in the bungalow gecko
but also could have a vieuw on the other bungalows
the bungalow offered all comfort, rooms nicely decorated in local arts, very clean, kind of exceptionnel bathroom- shower outside
lizardys a peacefull isolated location, not far from all facilities of pointe noire
pool and spa situated in a large plantation
ocean vieuw from every in this domaine
our hostess chris was just on the top in telling to explore the local nature, how to prepare local products by our self and more
we appreciated the most her menus:
great dining above fresh local fish and meat products with local rhums and punchs
don t worry about no informations in english about this island
chris has made a well defined instruction- guide to make you explore this destination
so many local sites, diving adresses, ocean, mangrove and wilderness forests exploring,
we had a nice dinner with the other guests in a very local small restaurant outside from tourists experiences and lot more
we just can recommand lizardys for all nature lowers -

The bungalows are lovely and the view is amazing but above all Chris & George are the perfect hosts who help you to organize your trip, invite you to drink their home made ti punch'.
We really recommend Lizardy and we will certainly come back one day !

There is a beautiful surrounding with view over the carribean sea and the sunset. You will find
nice accomodations within a big lovely garden and a sweetwater pool for using it every time.
The owner give you comprehensive information about the island, destinations, habitants and explain them in detail.
