Beautiful large condo villa. We were only 3 adults and a baby, but the place could easily fit 2 families with children, or 3-4 adult couples (there are 3 bedrooms, and one open loft room). Nice view of palm trees from the lanai. Beautifully decorated. About a 5-7 minute walk to the beach, along nice greenway path. Highly recommended.

We had a wonderful all family vacation. Poipu is the place to be. This was my husband and I's 3rd time to Kauai, and we've visited most parts of the island, and this location and condo was great. It is just minutes from the Poipu Shopping Village and many restaurants and a number of beaches. I would return to this condo and/or recommend it to my friends. We had a few issues, but called the office and recieved help right away. Overall, a great stay.

When booking a week at a Poipu property, there was no discussion of a swimming pool. Upon our dicovery at the last minute that there wasn't one, GVR was able to rebook us at a very nice property with access to a choice of pools. It made our vacation.
The property was very clean and well stocked. Gvr personnel were very responsive to any question/concerns we might have had.
While not much cheaper than an airport rental, the included car rental was super convenient. Curbside pick up / drop off at the airport. Responsive service. -

This is a great place to stay, we were there is a downstairs unit (2 Bedroom) in Dec 2012 and wanted to return as soon as possible with friends. This a great place if you enjoy walks. This place really doesn't have a view but is worth staying at if you don't plan on spending a lot of time & what time you do spend it is very comfortable. Nice large kitchen with everything we needed, bathrooms are large enough and the beds are comfy too.
We did not opt for the car so we are not sure of that part.
We really enjoyed being able to walk down towards the Hyatt and up the ocean side past the golf course to explore (right out our door). Great hiking area if you enjoy that as we did. The views are amazing. We would recommend this place to anyone that has a family or just want to go with great friends as we did.
I would also recommend getting the ultimate Kauai guidebook if you have not been there as it has some much info about where and what things there are to see. Enjoy it's worth it! -

This condo was perfect for our family holiday gathering, 2 weeks in paradise. The kitchen was big enough to prepare christmas dinner and many more feasts, table seated us all comfortable, furniture and beds were comfortable. The second floor deck looked out at some palm trees and the condo was located a short walk to the beach. Loved not having to drive to the beach, especially for the New Years celebration. We enjoyed the tennis clinics and the close-by courts and also played tennis at the club while the kids swam. Having a washer and dryer was helpful for beach towels. All of us never felt crowded in the place, even when it rained and all we stayed in and relaxed. The aC was nice to control the humidity when sleeping. All in all a great location and place to stay.

The stay was amazing and relaxing. The rental house was located in a perfect spot for snorkling and dining in walking distance and to amazing ocean views! The home itself was very clean and updated and comfortable for the 8 of us that stayed there. The amenities were great and used them daily. We loved the location, the cozy feel of the house and the lanai's at the house. We bbq'd often and used the pool and jacuzzi almost everyday.
On the last day we needed a place for our luggage till we departed for the airport and the friendly office staff let us keep all our luggage in the office till we were ready to leave. Everyone made our stay comfortable and easy and relaxing. I would recommend your vacation rentals to all my friends! Oh and the best part is the deal you gave us for the 9 day stay!

We had a wonderful time at Regency Villas 220 - two young couples staying for a week. Very well equipped spacious villa in a beautiful garden setting; pool shared between a few villas, but we often had it to ourselves and it was never crowded. Good service - responded to our request to have the skylight blocked (the light was waking us up too early!). Pleasant stroll through the gardens to the beaches. Kauai was wonderful - highly recommend the drive up to Kalalau Lookout (past Waimea canyon) - incredible view, and Josselin's Tapas bar (fantastic food and drinks - the guy's a genius!).

Upon arrival on Kauai, we were first met @ the airport with our cars then taken to the Regency Villa #220 in Poipu. My whole family was blown away to find the condo's spaciousness and very well equipped living room, dining area, excellent kitchen facilities, bathrooms and bedrooms plus a loft which the children enjoyed. Everything you would never expect to find was available including beach outing equipments. The website is just a small glimpse of what one can expect. We attended my son's wedding @ the Hyatt Resort that weekend, and had a family get together the next day @ the condo. Everyone was so amazed with our condo and requested info for their next visit to Kauai. Their comments was, "Our accomodations is nothing like this. This is awesome!" I highly recommend families or group of friends to make the Regency Villa your next vacation stay in Poipu, Kauai. I am definitely looking forward to making the Regency Villa #220 my next visit to Kauai. Mahalo amy, Lou, Carly and Jenny (Housekeeping) for the best vacation my family had in a very long time.

We stayed at Regency Villas in June 2010. The accomodations were great--the villa was clean and well cared for. We had family members who stayed at the Hyatt--it was a beautiful 10 minute walk to visit them. We had 7 people (adults and teens) and the villa was a great size. We would stay here again!

Although we have visited Kauai before this was the best family vacation we have experienced from beginning to end. Our unit at Regency Villas (#220) was clean, well equipped and perfect for our family of 6 adults. The only weird experience was getting to the pool assigned to our building. It took a bit of research to find it. Otherwise we truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it for a group that does not require immediate access to the beach. The walk to the beaches was very pleasant. We surfed, snorkeled, explored, ate, shopped, hiked, went to the spa at the Hyatt, and had cocktails at sunset. Great!

This was an excellent vacation rental! The place was airy, spacious, clean, immaculately furnished, and well stocked with beach toys and kitchen supplies. We were 2 families with small children, and a set of grandparents and had ample room. The owners were very generous and included a Pack-n-Play and a high chair. The dishwasher wasn't working initially, but was quickly repaired. The location is excellent - walking distance to 2 beaches, near walking paths, shopping centers, and south shore attractions. A very quiet resort community with great amenities. All-in-all, and excellent place to stay, and we hope to return in the future.

I hesitate to write a review because this accomodation is so amazing that I'd prefer to keep it a secret - but in fairness to Great Vacation Retreats and Amy Grant (who we booked through) I must say that this is a truly unforgettable and beautiful place to stay. The unit is very nicely furnished, bedrooms were very pretty, master bathroom was huge and gorgeous, kitchen also was great and everything we could want was supplied. The Regency Villas are about a 5 minute walk from the beaches, and the walk was one of my favorite things - a winding path through wonderfully scented gardens full of birds (and a few roosters). Brenneke's beach at the bottom of the path was a favorite for body surfing with huge sea turtles, and Poipu beach next door was great for snorkelling and swimming. The kids loved the pool and hot tub, and we made very good use of the barbeque. We had a couple of small issues (internet connection and touchy garburator) and Amy Grant contacted us and sent someone over almost immediately. Because we were arriving late at night with kids and no car, Amy arranged to have someone do some grocery shopping for us before we arrived, which was very appreciated on that first day. You definately need a car and again Amy recommended car rental companies that gave us the best rates. The suite had boogie boards, a cooler, beach chairs and beach towels. If I had to choose something that I liked the least (and I really had to think to come up with something) I would wish that the lanais were a little bigger so all six of us could eat outside. The suite provided laundry and dishwasher detergent, and shampoo soap and body lotions. It was very quiet at night, which we appreciated with the young kids. We will definately return to the Regency Villas again, and book through Great Vacation Retreats - if you can book your vacation here, do it!!!

We had a great time in this condo; there was plenty of room for 4 adults and 4 big kids to be comfortable. THe area felt completely safe; we never felt that our safety was in jeopardy. The walk to the beach really is on a beautiful sidewalk through the grounds.
This was a first: the condo and area exceeded my expectations. -

The villa is conveniently located and well stocked. It is beautifully furnished. It suited our needs perfectly. Our family had a great vacation. The rental process was easy and wonderful. Everything was delivered as promised.
A salad spinner would be a welcome addition for the gourmet cook.
We had enjoyed our stay tremendously. We swam, snorkeled, body surfed, hiked, ran and explored almost the entire island. The weather was perfect.
