Welcome to Our Pacific Paradise where you can relax in our Kuhio Shores oceanfront condominium on one of the most beautiful and tranquil sea shores in the world - the Poipu Beach area on the sunny south side of Kauai. Few condominiums are built on the waters edge in Kauai, but Kuhio Shores, surrounded by ocean waters, is about as close as you can get. Enjoy a relaxing dinner as you look out on the beautiful blue waters of the Pacific Ocean, where you are less than 80 feet from the rolling waves.
Enjoy our oceanfront dwelling where the morning sun flows through the windows as you look out onto the ocean's breaking waves. From your priv...Read more

My wife and I stayed here during our honeymoon. What a great location in Poipu with easy access to the rest of the island. The condo was perfect with everything you could need. Enjoyed having some morning coffee on the lanai while listening to the waves crash below. Will definitely come back on our next trip to Kauai!

We had a wonderful time in Kauai. The setting is perfect. There is a great view from the lanai. Everything was convenient from the kitchen supplies to the extra hooks for hanging towels etc. Both the living area and the bedroom and bathroom had ceiling fans and in addition 3 portable fans were available. The neighborhood was quiet and the grounds were kept up well. We enjoyed the Island and hope we can return in the future. We certainly recommend Our Pacific Paradise to anyone going to Kauai.

My wife and I had a very nice vacation stay on Kauai. One of the reasons was our accomodations. This condo was very clean and well maintained. It had eveything you would expect a home to have, appliances, kitchen utensils, comfortable furniture(the bed was very comfortable), washer and dryer(this came in very handy), even some items for recreational enjoyment. We were within walking distance to a nice mall for shopping and dining. All in all a very enjoyable experience.

My husband and I loved our stay at "our Pacific Paradise". Listening to the surf crashing outside our patio doors, watching the sea turtles swim in the cove, cheering on the surfers riding the waves, and winding down at the end of the day with our glass of wine on the lawn watching the beautiful sunsets...were just a few of our favorite activities we enjoyed while we were there.
The location is perfect with wonderful walks whichever way you decide to go. We were able to walk to various Poipu beaches and restaurants as well as walk to Spouting Horn blowhole and National Tropical Botanical Garden. The wonderful Beach House Restaurant is just next door.
We would highly recommend this well stocked condo. A little slice of heaven... -

My wife and I have traveled to all the islands but Kauai represents the best of what Hawaii has to offer. And paradise can be found at Kuhio Shores, unit 203. We have stayed in this unit on 6 occasions. From your private deck you will experience the ever present sounds of waves caressing the shore and soft winds whistling through the palm trees along with colorful sunrises and sunsets. This condo has a fully equipped kitchen for the gourmet and is within walking distance of the best restaurants and shopping. Step outside of your unit and beautiful beaches and hiking trails beckon. It is truly a Pacific Paradise.

Our stay was perfect - the view from the balcony was amazing (you can watch sea turtles throughout the day!) and the accommodations were great. I only wish we could have stayed longer, we'll definitely stay here again if we come back to Kauai.

beautiful place, all newly remodeled and decorated, great view looking at at the ocean and sea turtles. The condo has everything you could possibly need (all cook ware, beach chairs, towels, internet), it was like staying at your own house! The condo was spacious and in a great, quiet location. Will definitely be back when we make it back to Kauai!

This is the third year we have rented this condo. What we love the most is the proximity to the ocean - to see it, hear it and smell it from the convenience of your own condo. We emjoy sitting on the lanai morning or night being able to watch the ocean, clouds, turtles, and an occasional rainbow. The amenities are great, and the location excellent for shopping, restaurants or walking around.
This is a fabulous place to stay. -

'Our Pacific Paradise' was a great place for a holiday. The condo was comfortable and provided everything we needed and more even snorkels and boogie board! It is well situated on the beach with great views from the private lanai where you can also spot the occasional turtle. Plenty of places to dine and shop at, some within walking distance. A car is recommended to get around and see the sights. The condo has plenty of fans if you feel the heat but no air conditioning. Thanks to Jackie Ratliff for making our stay fuss free and memorable.

Left on 06/07/2011 for a stay in June 2011
This place was great. My wife and I stayed here for our honeymoon and couldn't be more pleased. Everything we needed was in the condo already, including snorkeling gear, picnic-ing equipment, books to read on the beach, chairs and umbrellas for the beach, cooking utensils for making romantic dinners, and the list goes on.
We actually used the pull-out couch in the living room to sleep rather than the bedroom because if we opened up the sliding door we could hear the waves rolling in much better from the little cove just outside the condo. (See pictures from the view, it is great). We also saw a number of large sea turtles in this same cove, which was a lot of fun to get video of.
There are grocery stores and great restaurants within a few minutes drive, or a longer walk.
The owner of the condo was very nice and took care of us for our honeymoon.
Its hard to take any review seriously unless there are at least some mention of downsides we well, so I will say that the oceanfront directly outside the house was more rocky than "beachy" so we had to walk next door down the road a bit to get to what we were looking for as far as a place to set up at the beach/go snorkeling/etc. Other than that though, really nothing to complain about. We will definitely be going back. -

Canberra, AustraliaHighlight of our trip to Kaua'i - turtle central!
Left on 06/07/2011 for a stay in May 2011
We stayed at this great condo in Koloa for the first four of our 11 night stay in Kaua'i. The condo is perfectly located just steps from the ocean, very nicely furnished and is very well equipped. The blender was especially handy for smoothies!Within 2 mins of arriving at the condo I had spotted what was the first of many turtles that we saw from the balcony. The snorkeling on the other side of the condo complex was some of the best we experienced during our stay - better than at Ke'e and Tunnels Beach. The beach is not as picture perfect as the northern beaches but we travelled back down to this spot several times (Lawai beach) while staying in Princeville in the north because the snorkeling was so good and we were pretty much guaranteed turtle sightings (multiple) - got to swim with them too! We were also lucky enough to have two Hawaiian monk seals asleep on the beach next to the condo for most of one day. Should we be lucky enough to return to Kauai for a third time, this place will be at the top of our list. We miss going to sleep to the sound of the waves and would highly recommend this condo to anyone.

This was a great condominium. We found the location to be perfect for what we wanted to do. We especially loved the view from the balcony and the ability to hear the waves.
It was very well stocked for guests; snorkeling equipment to ice chests to Ipod docking stations (which was a happy surprise)! I liked all the information available as to what to do and restaurants to try as commented upon by your guests. My favorite spot was the balcony watching the waves and the morning sunrise.
What did we like least? Probably that we had to return to the mainland!
Making reservations and working with the owners was very easy.

This privately owned oceanfront condo is ideally located for those who enjoy snorkeling, watching sunrises and sunsets, sea turtles, whales, dolphins or just relaxing on the lanai. The setting is peaceful and quiet.
The condo is comfortably spacious, well equipped and very clean. It is truly a "Pacific Paradise" and we hope to return soon. -

#203 Kuhio Shores is a wonderful place to stay -- the owners have thought of everything, to include snorkel gear, beach chairs, beach towels, very nicely equipped kitchen, guide books, washer & dryer; laundry and dish soap.
We arrived on a Sunday, but the parking permit was not in the condo, and nor was albert, the Manager, on site. We were able to resolve this on Monday (after Security left us a notice on our windshield Sunday night) when we found albert and he gave us a permit. -

The area is beautiful!
It is hard to give an honest unbiased review because we were uncomfortable because of the heat. We had to borrow fans from another unit because there was no trade winds to speak of. Other than it being very warm and humid (the locals said it was unusually warm for them) the condo is very nice, it is very clean, and the ammenities were very good, I don't know if there was anything else we could have wanted in ammenities!
It was a treat to wake up every morning to the beautiful sunrise! Being able to hear the waves continuously was wonderful! Having the Beach House Restaurant right next door is wonderful!
We enjoyed our trip but air conditioning is so under-rated! -

My wife and I are repeat visitors to Kauai and have found this condo to be the only place to stay. It’s bright, clean and spacious. The kitchen is very well equipped, right down to the “picnic box” ready to take with you on a hike. There’s a very good TV and stereo, complete with an IPod dock. The bed is huge and comfortable. It’s always quiet and peaceful, although our favorite thing to do is to open the ocean-side doors and sleep to the waves. We love the location because it’s right on the water. My wife loves to sit on the lanai and count turtles and whales as they swim by. I like the large outdoor grills. With a white-sand beach on either side, she can tan while I snorkel every morning. The condo has beach chairs and other water wear, and you can rent snorkel gear right there on the beach, and it’s cheap. Lunch is just a three minute walk back to the condo. Speaking of walking, my wife and I pass dozens of people every morning jogging along the coast. And why not? The breathtaking views really help the miles disappear. Because the condo is on the south side of the Kauai, it’s only about 45 minutes to either “end” of the island. You can be hiking the Na Pali trail or driving the Waimea Canyon within an hour. Plus you are only ten minutes from the best rated family beach in Hawaii – Poipu Beach. When we visit Kauai, we will always stay at this condo. It’s a great value, a great location, and there are no worries. I highly recommend it.
