Regency at Poipu Kai is centrally located on Kauai`s beautiful South Shore in the heart of Poipu. This vacation haven is equidistant between the Grand Hyatt Kauai and Shipwreck Beach and the world famous Poipu Beach and Brennecke`s Beach. Less than ten minutes walking time will take you to either. The Regency at Poipu Kai is graced by a beautiful walkway called the greenbelt which provides you with walking paths throughout the Poipu Kai area, a 70-acre resort consisting of several unique condo developments, a residential area with homes, a large tennis facility (Poipu Kai Racquet Club), and garden paths connecting the areas of the resort. The Regency at Poipu Kai has access to two swimming pools, one fronting Building 6 and one five minutes away--both have hot tubs.

Imagine yourself walking to beautiful Poipu Beach, perfect for swimming, snorkeling or laying out in the sunshine. Poipu Beach also has a large grassy park with a children`s play area, showers, bathrooms, restaurants and shopping. Next door, you will find Brennecke`s Beach--Kauai`s premier body surfing and body boarding beach.

In the other direction, you will discover the beauty of Shipwreck Beach to watch the sunrise or climb the Mahaulepu Coastal Trail beginning just beyond the beach. This trail is a special part of the Kauai History Heritage site and the last stretch of accessible coastline on the South Shore that has not been developed. The trail leads to beautiful Mahaulepu Beach, a great place to spot whales in the winter or observe (from a distance) a monk seal napping on the beach.

Or, try wandering around the Grand Hyatt Kauai Resort & Spa`s lush tropical gardens or indulge in a reviving treatment at the resort`s world-class Anara Spa.   This condo has almost everything you need or want. The only thing lacking was a view of the water. The location was great though - 5-10 minutes to Poipu Beach in one direction and 5-10 minutes to the Grand Hyatt Kauai Resort and Spa in the other. The unit was super clean and modern, with a fully equipped kitchen, three large bedrooms with really comfortable beds, three full bathrooms complete with turtle towel animals, a large dining room, and a very comfortable living/family room.
  My daughter's family thoroughly enjoyed the week they spent here, and I enjoyed 20 days of island aloha. We all look forward to returning.

  Amazing 2 weeks in the Garden!

  We had a wonderful time in February on Kauai with our family. This condo was more then we expected and came with more amenities then we could possibly use in our two week stay. We have never stayed in a unit that provided so much in the way of things like Shampoo, soap, conditioner, garbage bags - almost everything - the list is endless.
  
  Truly a beautiful spot within walking distance of many amazing beaches. It was really great staying on the green belt as it gave the kids more places to run and blow off steam. We even wandered the green belt just to snoop at houses and condos along the strip, such a peaceful area.
  
  The only thing I would caution anyone about was that parking can be tricky and spots seemed to be at a premium certain times of the day. We didn't usually have to wait to long though before a spot opened up so it worked out - this would not stop us from returning to tranquility base at all!
  
  Thanks for being a part of our amazing stay in Poi'pu, we truly loved every minute of it, and we will definitely be back.

  We loved this place. Great value , 5 minute walk down the path to the beach , immediate access to the pool and hot tub! Plenty of rooms for the babies and nice soft carpet! We will definitely return!

  We had a wonderful stay in Regency 620. It is in a nice location and everything was just beautiful inside and outside of the condo. I wish I could have stayed another week! Great Vacation Retreats did a great job with managing it. I guess we should have mentioned to them that the aC didn't work, but we just opened the windows. The trade winds did a good job keeping the condo comfortable.

  A Wonderful Place to Stay

  We had a wonderful experience in the condo and we loved everything about it and the area. We had everything that we could possibly need. The condo was decorated very nicely.
  We really enjoyed the Maile Products, in fact I ordered on line when we got home. We appreciated the washer and dryer so we did not have to bring so many clothes. It was a great place to stay so close to restaurants and all. We appreciated Lou picking us up at the airport and returning us. Lou was very effecient time wise, both picking us up and returning to airport.

  we received awesome service- we were provided with high chairs, air mattresses (for toddlers), and a baby gate. I loved the ease of the parking. it was about 10 min walk to the beach, but with toddlers in tow, we opted to just drive to the beach with all our gear, which was also easy. The pool just steps away was also a great option. we loved the a/c, the modern furnishings, and the openess of the condo. we would definitely stay here again!

  We got this condo at the last minute and were VERY pleasantly surprised as to how nice it was!
  Everything was spanking clean and new. The appliances were amazing, the bedding, the towels! AND the overall layout of the place was spacious and beautifully decorated.
  With a small child in tow, it was nice to have a full kitchen to cook in anytime. I'm so glad we were here instead of a hotel.
  The pool was right outside the door, not heavily used so we felt like it was our own. It was small, but clean.
  THE LOCATION was great...we could walk to the beach, but it was just as easy to drive.
