From the moment we opened the front door and walked through the place, my wife and I were saying... Wow! I remember that my wife kept asking if it was going to be a nice place as we were driving to Poipu and I was being evasive becasue I didn't want to get her hopes too high. After all, I had only read some reviews and seen some pictures on-line. We all know how unreliable this kind of information can be... or so I had assumed. Needless to say, the whole tone of our mini vacation was set as soon as we walked in and saw how fabulous the place was. I wasted no time in making a reservation for next year when we will come back. I don't know how else to convince the reader that you should give this place a try. Mahalo Poipu Kai Resort!

Had a great stay at Poipu Ocean View Condo 36, lovely, comfortable. Staff very friendly. Good location. Very clean.

A totally relaxing setting and an immaculate condo made for a very amenable de-stress holiday. The number of 'rules' outlined by the manager were a little over the top, but apparently necessary(?). We loved the herb garden (which came in handy for our thanksgiving dinner :)) and the grounds, which were were very well kept. Also great was that the beaches were just a stroll away. I think my favorite aspect of the stay was the "golden girls" vibe that emanated from the decor...totally fabulous!! Hope to come back again soon :)

I love the islands! Poipu is one of my favorite island destinations. I was looking for good weather and lots of relaxation. And, I found it. A friend has stayed at your resort on several ocassions and recommended it to me. Knowing how particular I can be, she was a bit concerned that I would be happy. I loved it! The staff was friendly (lots of warm aloha) and the resort and room were immaculate. I look forward to returning.

We visited in 2008. Felt the welcome and warmth right away. So, we stayed here in 2009 and got more of it!. As soon as we made reservations for this December 2009, we knew we could look forward once again!
