My son and I stayed for about one week at Poipu during his Christmas Break in 2009. I simply do not have anything negative to say about the experience. The condo itself was very large (considering 2-3 people), very clean, had modern equipment, was nicely appointed etc... The grounds of the condo complex were very clean and nicely manicured and the landscaping was beautiful. The view of the ocean was very nice. We did not use the outdoor pool but visual inspection showed it to be very clean, like the rest of the grounds and appropriately sized for the complex itself. I only give service 4 stars because we did not have to utilize any type of service while there but did not want to leave it unrated (and at the same time did not want to give it 5 stars as I could not rate it fairly -- hope that makes some sense).

Husband wanted to scuba dive and I wanted somewhere I could just lounge by the pool or ocean. This was super. The location was great to take him to dive sites or the shops. We even had days when we could go explore the island on our own. The condo had every necessity covered--even did laundry! Meals in were a breeze-there was a barbeque. People were very friendly. Staff was excellent to deal with--they had great suggestions for any questtion I raised.

A lovely condo, with great facilities, location was quiet but close to the amenities of the Sheraton and the local shopping center. Unit 47 was very well equipped with a beautiful view from the lanai! The overall development was very well maintained and welcoming. Would recommend without hesitation.
