Our condo was in a perfect location with ready access to several beaches that were good for novice snorkelers and the more experienced. We swam with the turtles and thoroughly enjoyed our vacation there. The nearby pool was perfect for a quick"dip". Can't wait to come back again.

We were greeted at the reception desk as we walked in and even to our surprise offered a complimentary beverage. Our room manaloha 1001 surpassed our expections, it was very spacious and inviting. We found all the necessities on hand and even had a bbq outside our door only feet away. The grounds there are kept beautiful and this made our evening walks that much more enjoyable. Our walk to the beach was less then 5min,even if it was futher the scenery and atmosphere make up for it so you wouldn't even notice.

Only criticism is that the landscaping toward the ocean needs trimming. The hedge and the palm tree to give the unit back its beautiful view of the ocean.

This condo is very nice. It has the better location of almost all the many properties in Poipu Kai. Fairly well set up. We had a few problems with the cleanliness. The fridge was not completely cleaned out with remainders of the previous tenants veggies left in the crisper and the dishwasher had a bad smell. It needs a good bleach and wipe out. Even after we wiped it out as best we could, it was almost unusable. The rest of the property was clean.
Other than these two things which can be rectified, the property is very nice, well situated with a partial ocean view. It is a very short walk to Breneckes Beach, a very good body surfing/bogie boarding beach and Poipu Beach which is good for swimming and snorkelling.
Although there are lots of condos in the area, it is not congested, as compared to the Lihue and Kapaa areas where we were in yesterday.

The location of this unit is, well, as they say, if you love Kauai, tell all your friends to go to Maui - GO TO MAUI.

Because we were staying in Kauai for the month of February, it was important to us to have a well-appointed kitchen as we cook/grill in, more than eating out. I was not disappointed! The furnishings were tasteful and the unit was sparkling clean when we arrived. The staff were very accommodating to all of our requests, including being moved from one unit to another on day 3 of our stay. I believe the best testamony to Suite Paradise and Manualoha is that this week we've are making a reservation to return in 2014 for another month. Thanks Suite Paradise

We loved the location of this condo! This was our 4th trip to kauai and this condo by far had the best location. It was spacious enough for the 5 of us to spread out, and stocked with just about everything we needed. Convenient to pool and bar bq grill. Also had close parking and easy acsess to the beach and tennis courts.
Master bedroom was a bit small as well as master bathroom but it didn't bother us at all! It was decorated tastefully and we got good airflow through the lower half. Loft could get a bit stuffy when locked up all day but cools down pretty quick once you open the door to upstairs deck.
Manualoha is a beautiful complex and is well taken care of. We enjoyed walking the grounds and looking at the flowers. We heard and saw lots of different types of birds too.
The front of condo faces the beach so it was a wonderful place to lay back in one of many outdoor lounge chairs and read a book while catching some sun.This condo is not as updated as some but I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for an ideal location!Response from Poipu 365 - 01/30/2013

Poipu is the perfect place for people who love Hawaii & the beach, but hate tourist traps. This is more of an upscale neighborhood than a vacation resort, which means you can freely visit the beach, restaurants, entertainment spots, botanical gardens, etc. without feeling like you're at Disneyland. Kauai's wandering chickens are endearing (try not to run over them), and I liked the fact that I didn't recognize any of the bird species at all. This really is a tropical getaway.

We had it all...sunset views, short walk to Brenneke for boogie boarding and turtles and an extra minute walk to Poipu Beach for great snorkeling and almost daily visits from Monk Seals. 15 minute walk to the Hyatt and the beginning of the cliff walk, 1/2 hour to waimea Canyon by car and 1 1/2 hour drive to Napaii Coast hike, tunnels Beach and Hanalei. The condo was comfortable and modestly decorated. It was a great home base.

The unit has a great location, great view, and lot's of living space. The drawbacks are that the property is a bit worn and dated, the master bedroon is quite small is the master bathroom, the layout of the living room furniture was a bit awkward (and too heavy to move), and the stairs to the loft were uncomfortably narrow and steep. The unit has a great pool almost right next door with a great view of the beach. We would staay in this unit again.

We had a great stay! We literally walked across the street to Poipu beach. I was pleased that there were beach towels to use, and beach toys - noodle, boogie boards, beach chairs and umbrellas. The unit was nicely decorated and clean. The patio and furniture were in good condition as well. Property management and owner were easy to work with. I would stay here again!

Nice 1 bed room with loft condo with beach view, lush lawn and few hundred steps to great beach.
The loft balcony is a nice bonus with very fragranced plumeria next to it.
The service company is friendly with fresh orchid upon arrival and personal greeting and showing the condo features around. Also very responsive with service request(towel hanger broken).
Master bed is firm with separate shower and tub in master bath. Second bath room is cramp with no tub but operable.
Kitchen is well equiped. Dining room has windows open toward nice plumeria, ginger, apple banana...
Two twin in the loft is nice but a little bit in tight spot and cannot be joined into 1 King.
Would prefer a good sofa bed or King in the current place of the broken sofa bed (the sofa is ok) since there is ocean breeze if the balcony door is opened (there is screen doors all around but not the main door)
The ceiling fan in the loft making noise at full speed which spoiled the joy of listening to the breaking wave at night.
Plenty of beach toy, beach chairs, mats, umbrella. foam cooler and snorkel gears. Unfortunely, the 2 bogie boards are old and broken.
The washer and dryer is small and making bad noise so have to use them during the day. Plenty of beach towels and towels.
Overall, very good experience.
Please remember to bring and use insect repellent since you might get mosquito bite staying outside past sunset to enjoy the weather and the view.Response from Poipu 365 - 07/12/2012

We stayed in a two bedroom condo and always come back to this property. Condo has excellent amenities for cooking your own meals. The pool at this particular property has a great view of the ocean. The condo was large and had ceiling fans that help cool the place down during the evening and daytime. Condo also had beach chairs, towels, and foam noodles to take to the beach. There were two television sets. You can also rent movies as both sets had DVD players. Also there was a bottle of wine in the fridge, and a starter pack of coffee and coupons for activities and restaurants. Staff is very nice and welcomed us with the choice of a Mai Tai or fruit drink after our long flight. Staff also advised on where to eat and activities. I would definitely recommend Poipu Kai to others and have in the past. It's very convenient to shopping centers and the Hyatt which is almost next door. We had a wonderful time celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary.

Spent five restful days here. The Condo is spacious and well equipped. Enjoyed viewing the ocean from the lanai, and the close proximity of the beach. Both pools were good and never crowded. Because of bad weather we were very content spending more time indoors at this home away from home.

We were delighted with Manualoha 101. It was spotlessly clean, well equipped and spacious. It was perfect for our small family. We loved the view from the sitting room over the grass, through the palm trees to the sea. My daughter liked being able to play outside safely, and being next to the beach and pool. She also liked the hot tub in the main resort pool.

A couple of 80+ years old ...we had a great time enjoying all the beautiful ambiance. The easy access to the wonderfully clear warm water was greatly appreciated too. Two wonderful daughters that had time for us and also time for themselves made our holiday complete. Lots to do for any age. I would say a great place for a family holiday as the condo was very well equipped, everything was thought of, and it was clean and fresh when we walk in. Lots of space for all to relax. Needed some help at one point as we locked ourselves out of the safe and had very prompt and pleasant assistance. Felt like a good family home! Wish we could have stayed longer.

The service was excellent.We locked our selves out of the mini safe the management had it working again for us the same day.The condo was just like the photos,clean lots of space interesting art work on the walls.The Kitchen was Very well equipped.Located about a 10 min drive to a Big Save store for groceries,walking distance to several very nice restaurants,gift shops and beach equipment rental shops.We would all like to come back again

Was a perfect spot for us to stay I was traveling with my elderly parents and my sister in law.Mom and Dad could walk to the beach,pool and to a causal sister in law and I could walk to several major hotels and enjoy their Happy Hour.She and I could also walk to Poipu Mall with lots of nice shopping and places to eat.Was a 10 min.drive to Koloa to go grocery shopping The condo its self had a very well equipped kitchen, Everything we needed except a cork screw!Condo was very,very clean,had lots of towels , linens,and beach toys.The beds are very comfortable we liked the pillows too.We had a phone to make local calls.The loft is spacious and some what private from the down stairs.With its own Lanai was a great place to sit with coffee in the early morning and watch the sun hit the top of the palm tree.Lovely view of grass and paved path to the beach,as well as a glimpse of the ocean.A short walk to the beach(3min.)to boogie board,a little longer to Baby Beach and a very good Snorkel parent age 84 & 85 were able to walk that far easily.The web site photos give a good idea of the place.The over all feeling is of light and coolness with bright tropical warmth outside.The staff at Poipu 365 were friendly and helpful.I hope to go back again some day.

The folks at Suite Paradise were a pleasure to work with and welcomed us upon arrival. The unit was very spacious, clean and very well equipped. We had a great view of the ocean and were within walking distance of Brennecke, Poipu and Shipwreck beaches. The grounds were adorned with beautiful flowering plants and trees and had numerous walkways throughout. The location within Poipu was ideal with close proximity to shopping, restaurants, golf and sightseeing. Of the 14 days during our stay we experienced only 1 day of signigficant rain in Poipu which is why we like this area of the island best. We have been to Kauai 7 times and Poipu Kai Resort is now our favorite.

This condo was perfect for our group of 6 adults. the kitchen had all the applicances and cooking utensils you would want or need, the furnishings were comfortable and you couldn't beat the scenery! just steps to the pool and a few minute walk to the beach. It was quiet and we even loved the rooster wake up calls. we absolutely loved this condo and Hawaii and can't wait to come back again.

Manualoha 101 is wonderfully situated. We sat on the patio and had views of Brenecke's surf,orangey sunsets, wafting palm trees and even the famed Kauai rainbows. The condo has everything you could want, better utensils than at home! We were four old friends having a girls' reunion and it was perfect.

We stayed in Manualoha 404 which sleeps 4. The open concept kitchen/dining and living room was lovely with a vaulted ceiling and ocean view off of the deck. Master suite was very spacious with a lanai and big ensuite bathroom with tub and shower. The suite is best for a family as the second bedroom had 2 single beds and a sliding door. The second bathroom is not an ensuite. There is a half bath (toilet and sink) off of the kitchen. The suite was clean and well supplied with glasses and cookwear. Front desk staff was helpful. We enjoyed using the nearby tennis facilities which offer lessons and rentals and were rarely full.
