We found our condo extremely clean and well stocked with all kitchen supplies. Our view from our deck was very exciting as we enjoyed watching the many many sea turtles frolic in the ocean. The condo was very quiet but found that it lacked adequate lighting on the exterior. We were not impressed that the lock on the patio door didn't work and that the only protection we had was a piece of dowling that was put in place to stop intruders. We enjoyed the patio and pool and found the views along the coastline breath taking. We were close to the Tropical Botanical Gardens and the Kauaii coffee plantation.

101B had an excellent location, right on the ocean.
Pros: great newly renovated kitchen, quiet location (if you don't count the waves, air conditioning), turtles and pool outside your window, BBQ.
Cons: paint is peeling throughout the unit, sliding door in the BR didn't open at all (so no breeze/access), drapes are decaying, one window/screen was broken so we had a few bugs.Response from Great Vacation Retreats - 05/15/2012

We really appreciate the feedback as this is the best way to make sure that we communicate with the owner on what needs to be upgraded - sorry we weren't able to complete the work prior to your arrival;)

Poipu Shores Condo 101 -B is awesome. The location is perfect~next to a cove where the sea turles feed. At night you hear the waves crashing! The condo has everyhing you can think of plus a washer/dryer. Every kitchen gadget plus spices . It is nicely decorated.
Comfortable bed with wonderful bathrooms ( including a tub ) and air-conditioning. The two Tv's was an added bonus.
