Discover why many guests return year after year. It truly is located in one of the best locations at this great resort on the Sunny South Shore of Kauai - Poipu Beach. Tropical flowers, trees, fruit, and all that one wants while in Kauai, Hawaii is right outside your door.

Our ocean view two story villa is located on the end with over 1800 square feet including four lanais with plenty of light and ocean breezes. The main living area on the second f...loor has an open floor plan with beautiful vaulted ceilings and lanias on both sides to enjoy sunrise to sunset. The living room comfortably seats 6 and has a 40' flat screen with DVD, plus Radio/CD/Ipod docking station. The kitchen has a wrap around bar that seats 3 (great for entertaining). The den seats at least 3 more on the fold down couch and is a great place for the kids to have their own space to play games. Both master suites are downstairs and fully equipped with 32' flat screens, IPod docking stations and individual lanias. The interiors have recently been remodeled including a brand new stunning fully equipped kitchen with Silestone counters and Brazillian Cherry cabinetry. The interiors are also all new and decorated with beautiful tropical decor.

The main lanai on the second floor has a rattan dining table for the option of outdoor dining while enjoying the sunset or two teak steamer chairs to lounge in the sun while reading a book.

If you're craving a quick dip the oceanside heated pool, it is literally right outside your door. There is also a small keiki pool, shower and restrooms.

Hale Ohana, facing west, offers prime ocean and sunset views from the front lanai. You will also enjoy whale watching and occasionally a family of dolphins spinnng above the ocean. For early risers, there is also an east facing lanai to enjoy the spectular sunrises. And don't forget about the surfing Honus (turtles) that you can enjoy watching by strolling just a few steps down to the cove in front of the property.
BEACHES - Within a 5 minute walk you are sure to find a sandy beach perfect for you and your family. Among them are Brennecke Beach, ideal for the body surfing enthusiast and snorkeling; Poipu Beach, ideal for those with young children; and Waiohai Beach, ideal for snorkeling, swimming and surfing. Plus don't forget the childrens playground in Poipu Park.
RESTAURANTS - If you're hungry, just nestled behind Nihi Kai is Casa di Amici or you can take a 5 minute walk to Brennecke's Beach Broiler & Bar.
SHOPPING & DINING - There are three very distinct shopping villages nearby that are sure to meet all your needs and desires such as Poipu Shopping Village (1.1 mi); The Shops at Kuku'ula (1.6 mi); and Historic Old Koloa Town (3.4 mi).

  This was one of the best vacation stays we have ever had. The condo was updated and clean. the beach was right across the road and was less than a 3 minute walk. The grounds were beautiful. We plan on going back in the near future

  What a great place

  This is one great place to stay near Poipu Beach, probably 300 feet or less from the water. This Place has great views of the ocean and overlooks the pool. This is a excellent multi-family place to stay with many amenities and a great kitchen with all kitchen-ware and utensils provided, coffee maker, micro, nice refrigerator with Icemaker, towels and much more.
  Two bedrooms downstairs and both have full bathrooms. All bath ware, towels, beach towels are provided. A nice (in house)stacked washer and dryer. Beautiful furnishings and 3 Tv's (cable). This is an upscale place (and very clean)that my family really enjoyed for a week. One down side for me were the somewhat see through draperies through-out that can be easily seen through at night and they let alot of the outside street/porch lights pass through into the bedrooms when lights are off---could be a problem for some who like their privacy and/or like a dark bedroom to sleep in.
  This is definitely a 4 1/2 star place, almost a perfect Poipu Place to stay and well worth the price.

  Better than the Pictures

  It is always difficult to pick a condo based on the pictures and description. Many times the pictures put the best face on something that is very ordinary. In this case, I would say the pictures do not do it justice.
  
  I wanted an ocean view but knew that this unit was across the street from the water and that the lanai was not actually facing the water. I was afraid that I would only have a fleeting glimpse of the ocean through tree cover. In fact, you have an excellent view of the ocean from a comfortable lanai and you are close enough to the water to see a few things. We brought our binoculars along and could sit back in comfort and watch wales spouting every evening. You also have a ringside seat to watch the sun set into the Pacific every evening.
  
  This unit is an odd one in that it sits on top of the office. The upper level and lanai is twice as wide as the lanai on similar units in the same building; and the lanai is where we spent much of our time. There is a faux wicker glass top table and very comfortable chairs for 4 along with 2 wooden chaise lounges on the lanai that leave plenty of space for coming and going. It is a great place for an evening meal, but essential for drinks at sunset. You sit directly above the swimming pool which is clean and the perfect temperature for a dip.
  
  The unit is directly across the street from a rocky stretch of ocean. On our first day we saw a monk seal basking on one of the rocks and a few of his friends bouncing around in the water. Turtles about the size of an umbrella are surfing in the waves every day. About a half block from the condo, the rocks are replaced by a great little beach for boogie and body surfing. There is than a park that continues for about a mile along the beach with snorkeling, swimming and a few shade trees. There is a shop that rents boogie boards ($6 a day) and surf boards across from the park. Once you try it, you will be hooked. Great entertainment for kids.
  
  The condo was nicely furnished, clean and very comfortable. With 4 people all showering at the same time, we did not run out of hot water. (We were not aware of the washer/dryer and would have packed fewer clothes had we known.) There was a nice assortment of dishes and everything you need for a cooking. The bedrooms are on the lower level. One of the reasons we chose this unit was because there were 2 couples and the bedrooms both have large beds and about equal in size. They each have their own bathroom and small outdoor lanai. The bedrooms are separated by the bathrooms and are quite private. There is a fast wifi connection that worked flawlessly along with cable televisions in the living room and both bedrooms. (The bedroom units actually seemed too big for the space.)
  
  We were quite happy with the condo and the location. It is hard to think of much that could be better. It would be nice if the closets in the bedrooms had more light and if there were some drawers for your clothes. It is also time to replace the rusting shower curtain rod in the West bedroom. Other than that, we were quite delighted with the our stay. A daily visit by monk seals would make it perfect.
