We stayed here to be close to my son's family who stayed in another condo in the same complex. The only reason I would not stay in this particular condo is that it was too hot. Because of its one bedroom design it did not have the cross breezes that the other two bedroom condos had. Consequently it was very uncomfortable sleeping at night-too hot in spite of using the overhead fan and portable fan that was in our bedroom. Otherwise it is a nice property in a lovely development. View of ocean is minimal-better ocean views were had in my son's condo nearby where we spent all of our time.

Unit 803 was just right for us. There were some practical issues that concerned us, but we addressed them in the written review we handed in. One in particular: the toilet had a huge, ancient (illegal, I believe) tank of water - very, very wasteful.
The TV console had not been dusted. Some days were too hot even with all fans going.
We enjoyed being able to walk to the beach and to Brennecke's. Also loved having the pool available. -

We value our privacy, quietness, comfort and though we were at the top unit of the complex...it's exactly the separation we enjoyed. All the staff was so friendly and helpful. We needed the input / advice from Pat and others and it was always "spot on". Thanks for making our stay such a memorable one!!

We had two families in our group, therefore stayed in two condos.
We enjoyed both places, were pleased with all the extras that were included (soap, shampoo, paper towels, etc). I have to say, the teenagers played a lot of tennis, it was a hit! We also enjoyed the BBQ
The location was perfect, we could walk to the beach plus we dined at the restaurant up the street...which we walked to.
My only concern was that I reported a lost silver bracelet, and no one got back to me... -

We enjoyed our stay. It was nice and quite. The place was very clean. the only thing that we would have preferred is for the carpeting to be cleaner. Otherwise it was a great experience.

We stayed in Nihi Kai Villas unit 803 for 3 weeks in March 2010, the service was great on arrival we had a small problem with one of the windows and were unable to connect to the internet, both were promptly fixed.The condo was well furnished and the kitchen had everything required, the location is at the end of the road and is extremely quiet. We liked the large lanai facing west toward the ocean and had a spectacular view of sunsets, also because it showers for a few minutes most every day we were able to view many rainbows some of them double. The only thing we did not like was the barbeques were not clean enough to use but that was a small thing and we would recomend Kauai and the Parrish Properties to anyone visiting Hawaii.

Nihi Kai villas are in a great location and unit 803 was well kept and provided us with lots of room to relax and a great location in Poipu.
Ther service from the Parrish collection was excellent. -

We enjoyed two wonderful, relaxing weeks at Nihi Kai in April. The staff were very friendly and helpful and, at the same time, respected our privacy. Our condo was very comfortable and spacious and well-equipped with parking very close to our unit. The kitchen had all the appliances and kitchen supplies for our needs.
A couple of things for future consideration are: bathroom upgrade and better knives in the kitchen. There was one minor repair required while we were there; it was attended to promptly and efficiently.
We will definitely return for another vacation at Nihi Kai in the future. -

This unit had a great view and was really well appointed. I had a great time there and the proximity to the beach was very nice. The pool facilities were pretty lackadaisical but other than that the grounds were great.

We spent a week here on our anniversary Hawaiian trip and thoroughly enjoyed the condo and Kauai. We had a decent view of the ocean from our lanai and a short 5 min walk to the beach. We used the grill here many times and met many interesting people while grilling. So much to do on Kauai....we hope to come back some day and would stay here again. The grounds here are beautiful w/ flowering bushes; we used the beach chairs quite a bit.

The Nihi Kai Villas was an excellent place for a vacation stay. Being so close to Brennecke's Beach was a huge plus. I was able to walk to the beach for body surfing whenever I wanted. Each morning we took walks by the beaches which afforded many beautiful sites.
We enjoyed the spaciousness of the 1-bedroom condo and the front office people were nice and helpful with information. -

Heaven on earth!

We spent four nights at Nihi Kai and could of stayed much longer. Our condo was amazing - big and bright and super clean. We had all the amenities of home and in one of the most beautiful places on earth! It has a well equipped kitchen, huge lanai with a view that never ends. The property itself is well looked after with beautiful gardens. The pool was very clean. The staff were very good and it was quiet when we were there. The beach is good for children as well as snorkling. This is one of our favorite spots ever - we will go back - highly recommend.

Well priced, large, clean unit. The grounds and pool are well maintained. The small bay just across the road consistantly had turtles to watch. Just a block from Poipu Beach and perfect for catching the sunset.
All in all, I would highly reccomend this property.

This was an older, but decent place. It was perfect for us because we didn't want to spend a ton of money. The location in Poipu was great because the beach was a short walk away. We didn't like it that there wasn't any air or fans. Even when we just wanted to relax and lay on the couch, we couldn't because of the heat, but we were there in July so that may have been the problem. We ended up buying a fan the day before we were to leave and left it in the condo.
