we had stayed in 323 the previous year and with the same rating (deluxe) received a much more up to date and better equipped apartment. Old electric range that was not working properly(broken and crooked element), dishwasher was not in good working order, lights where not working, waste disposal at kitchen sink was clogged and and I had to take it apart on Christmas day. Unit should be upgraded or rented at Island casual level. Rented this time because we had a good experience last time. Next time ...?

The condo we got at Waikkomo Stream was spacious, comfortable, clean and quiet. It was close to many of the tourist destinations we wanted to get to. Our teenagers really enjoyed the pool.
I would have given this condo an excellent rating except that the WiFi wasn't working and there wasn't anybody in the office that we could contact to fix this. Normally this would not have been such an issue, but my son needed to keep up with his school work so it was a bit of a challenge for him to get on-line to do his work as well as for me to check my work emails. We managed to plug directly into the router, but that meant only one laptop had access to the Wifi at any time.
It's a small thing and probably wouldn't bother many guests but for our situation it provided a bit of a challenge.

We spent five days in Kauai using Waikomo Stream Villas at Poipu
as our base for exploring the island on our first visit. Our family of
four (including two teenagers) all agree that this was the nicest
place that we stayed in during our recent holiday in Hawaii. It was
spacious, quiet, and convenient to everything on Kauai. All the
facilities were ideal (full kitchen, washing machine etc) and the
apartment was extremely clean. The owner had left various
guidebooks, restaurant menus and reviews for our perusal, so that
even far from home we felt we were instantly familiar with the local
scene. Parking was a breeze. We benefitted from a special internet
deal, and thought that the value for money was excellent. I highly
recommend staying there (we would certainly do so again). Judging
from the numerous positive comments in the guestbook, we are not
the only ones that thought highly of this particular property. I
cannot speak for other apartments in the complex, but the grounds
are well cared for and all of the exterior looks to be well
maintained. -

Enjoy the quiet location. We love to walk, and as such you can walk to Spouting Horn (a daily occurrence), Poipu Village, Town of Koloa and Children's Beach at Poipu....however, should be aware that you need to walk on the side of the road to access these locations.
We stay a month and eat all of our meals in the condo. The kitchen is well equipped to prepare a variety of meals...you also have use of an outdoor barbeque.
The condo comes with beach towels and chairs and in this condo you have access to an umbrella and cooler, which eliminates either bringing these items from home or purchasing them.

We stayed here for 10 days in August. We had our 3 kids (and a Grandma!) with us. We found this unit to be very well kept and homey. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils, so we were able to cook many of our own meals. The owner of the unit left some tips on where to eat and what to see, which led us to Kipu Falls and the ropeswing-one of our favorite moments of the vacation. The staff was friendly and helpful. They even mailed my nieces lost blankie to us after we left! We would definately stay here again.
