What a dream like place to stay
My Husband and I needed a relaxing get-a-way for a week and Luxury-At-Poipu exceeded our expectations. Lisa met us at the site and treated us as old friends. She graciously agreed to meet us before the official check in time. The condominium is well appointed with sweeping and spectacular views of the ocean. We watched turtles and dolphins from our lanai every morning and evening. The condo is within walking distance to Shipwreck Beach and Poipu Beach. The local guide directed us to fun and delicious dinning. We did not miss the air-conditioning. On the contrary, having the condominium open to the sounds and feel of the ocean through the day was therapeutic. The trade winds cooled the rooms down quickly.
If you are traveling with children this condominium offers beach gear including fins and snorkels, beach chairs, towels, toys and more. The kitchen has every amenity required for meals, drinks or light entertaining.
We could not recommend this beautiful get-a-way more highly.
Absolutely the best on the water
This place is so much better than they promised! When we arrived, our own concierge was actually waiting for us in the parking lot. We walked down with her to the ocean, and when we walked in the front door, soft Hawaiian music was playing on the sound system. There was kind of a golden glow emanating from all of the floor to ceiling antique Koa wood that ran throughout the home.
Once we walked past the entry library, we turned the corner, and the most amazing sweeping view of the crashing ocean lay right beneath our feet. I darn near fainted.
In every direction, all we could see was the ocean and the crashing waves. Walking out on the giant "L" shaped lanai, we could see whales stretching out from right in front of us to the horizon. You could hear them crashing down in the waves. It sounded like distant cannons.
The home has super high ceilings, is surrounded by floor to ceiling windows, and is so spacious that we felt like we wandering around in opulent luxury.
It has a bunch of great art, mostly what appeared to be original local hawaiian studio quality oil paintings of koi fish, ocean scenes and a hula dancer in front of a cruise ship.
The bedrooms are huge, and the master bathroom was like a spa. The shower head in the gigantic shower was like carbonated evian water. The master bedroom has a loft above and behind it, and opens directly onto the crashing ocean.
There is another guest bedroom with its own two room bathroom, which also looks out on the ocean.
It has an office area with computer and internet and printer, etc. a nice kitchen with an indoor grill and a very large dining area inside the massive living room.
Furniture is something like Tommy Bahama and the towels and linens are really nice. We also got a big gift basket from the concierge.
We'll go back as often as we can. We loved this place.
