This large oceanview home is steps away from the ocean. It is located across from the Poipu Beach Park which is on the ocean, in the heart of Poipu, Kauai - this split level house features large bay windows, two large lanais (sun decks ) and a Plasma T.V. entertainment system.
Conveniently located to shopping and many restaurants or bbq on the lanai while watching the ocean waves. See the turtles and whales (seasonal), from the lanai.
Enjoy this South Shore house or visit the North Shore house. Some of our renters do both because the island is too beautiful.

Thank you very much for sharing your beautiful home! Our family vacation will filled with adventure, a wedding (my brother) on the beach, whale-watching from the lanai, and fantastic home to relax and prepare delicious meals. The home was so very comfortable, we felt at ease immediately. There was so much room for all 10 of us to spread out and to have our own space. The interior was gorgeous yet casual. We felt very safe in the neighborhood. We took walks to several restaurants and activities. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. Would definitely stay here again and recommend this to all of our friends and family!

Overpriced. House well designed, good location across from Poipu Beach Park, but poorly equipped for the size and the number of people it is supposed to sleep. The bedrooms were spacious with plenty of beds; however, the linens on beds were "pilly" and worn. The pillows were horrible. My husband and I had to purchase sheets and pillows for our own use. There were plenty of bath towels, but few beach towels, no umbrella and one beach chair. The latch on the dryer was broken and had to be jerry-rigged to get it to work. No detergent supplied. Two burners on the cooktop did not work. Dishwasher door broken. Ceiling fan downstairs sounded like a train and had to be dismantled by my husband before we could use it. The lanai had woefully inadequate seating; we had to wait 3 days to get some plastic chairs so we could dine outside and enjoy the "view" of the neighbors squatting in a tent across the street and the bedroom windows of next door. Inside table seats 6, but chairs are huge and too low for comfort.Living area is very hot; lighting is pot lights, no lamps. Many light bulbs are burnt out, remotes need batteries. This house needs some attention to detail. Stainless steel appliances are not enough to bring us back to this house!

The home is beautiful. The furnishings including the appliances in the kitchen are all top notch - things you would see in a very upscale home. Although our visit was just my husband and I - the layout and size of the home is great for families with children. The location is perfect! Again - a great place for a couple vacationing or families. Great beach in front of the house. Our stay in March, 2009 was our second stay and we hope to return again soon.
