The historical Chateau de la Flacelliere is located in the Western Loire and is available for booking by the day, the week, the month or longer. It is the magnificent Pavilion building next to the main chateau that is available for hire. The extensive grounds of the estate house a swimming pool (for guests use) and superb manicured gardens. The Pavilion can sleep up to 12 guests and has a private garden with exotic trees and flowers, a barbeque area and plenty of garden furniture. For larger groups, up to 22, it is also possible to rent the neighbouring Keep (sleeps 10) adjacent to the pavilion.
The Pavillon is an independent wing of... a medieval Chateau Flacelliere, integrating an ancient defensive tower which was transformed into lodging in the 17th century.The accommodation has a ground floor and a first floor. Ground Floor: - The large dining room is in the corner tower. Do note the remarkable "canoniere", an opening in the thick walls dating to the 15th century from which the castle could be defended. - The dining room has a table for twelve settings and opens onto the exterior. - The kitchen is largely open plan (American style kitchen)with the dining room and is well equipped. - A guest toilet and sink are in the entry hall. First Floor: - The living room is in the corner tower, with wood beams and an ancient stone chimney. Five Bedrooms: - Alcove: double bed accommodation (160cm x 200cm), shower and WC - Charette: double bed accommodation (160cm x 190cm), a sofa bed and sink - Rose: double bed accommodation (160cm x 200cm) with en suite bathroom The beds can be transformed into twin beds - Trianon: small accommodation with a bed (120cm x 190cm), and it shares the bathroom with the Rose room On a half floor you have a family room with a large bed and a canape for 2 children, small shower and WC. Outside Grounds The Pavilion has a private garden with exotic trees and flowers, a barbeque area and plenty of garden furniture. We recommend you enjoy a picnic by the pond! Also within the grounds of the estate you will find the swimming pool with sun loungers. You will find ample parking in front of the Chateau.
Should you wish, you can also enjoy fine gourmet dining with the Viscount and Viscountess in the main chateau. Exquisite table settings, antique silver, sparkling crystal, fine porcelain and fresh flowers from the chateau garden will adorn the table. Facilities available for weddings, special events, honeymoon, seminars, etc. Wedding at Chateau Flacellier Pavilion - Reception fees for a wedding in the castle area (maximum of 30 guests). This includes the rental of the reception garden, the stainglass gallery for the dinner and the dancing area in the vaulted gallery, chairs, table and table cloth : 1000€ - Dinner in the castle prepared by our chef: from 60€p/p - Cocktails with 6 canapes and champagne, Martini, Gin, wine, etc: 20€p/p - Open bar after dinner: 20€ p/p - Wedding cake, a reproduction of the castle in nougatine and choux pastry priced accordingly to the number of guests and number of towers: 10€ p/p - Wedding ceremony in the chapel of the castle or grounds: form 50€ - Blessing with a ceremony lady: Reading the text in English: 100€ - Maid or babysitters: around 15€ p/hour - Optional musicians, violinist, harpist: from 300€ per musician + meal. - Accordeonist: from 100€ - DJ: from 600€ - Horse drawn carriage with 1 or 2 horses: 450€ - Fireworks on request. - Taxi transportation, hire car, bus on request and round trips possible. - There is a nice restaurant within walking distance in the village. It is ideal for a wedding rehearsal dinner or group dinner the night before. The Pavilion has a telephone and the phone bill must be settled before you leave the castle.
