A traditional villa within easy walking distance of Pollenca Old Town. Villa La Font de Nadal is in a very pretty setting, with beautiful tropical gardens surrounded by tall trees and palms with a gated driveway. The house is very private - behind tall gates and a high wall.

Inside, the house is full of Mallorcan character with traditional furniture, white walls, tiled floors and high beamed ceilings. All the rooms are at ground level. There's a long and wide lounge and dining room with comfortable sofas, an open fireplace, and satellite TV and a DVD player and CD stereo. Double doors open out from the lounge to a lovely covered terrace... at the front of the house.

The kitchen is also a long room with a dining table and bench-seating and a door opening out onto the covered barbecue-terrace at the back of the house. There's lots of storage space in pine cupboards with granite work-surfaces. And appliances include a dishwasher and there are laundry facilities in a separate utility room.

There are three bedrooms - a double room and two twin rooms, all air-conditioned. The double has a lovely antique bed and very pretty views over the gardens. It also has an en-suite shower room. The two twin bedrooms are light and bright with pine and dark-wood furniture and lots of storage space in fitted wardrobes. These rooms share a full bathroom with a bath and a shower. There's also a guest WC cloakroom.

The beautiful tropical gardens are incredibly relaxing and private with lots of space for spending the whole day swimming and reading. The curved swimming pool is surrounded by a sun-terrace. Long lawns are criss-crossed by paths, with lots of colourful Mediterranean flowers and hidden shady spots. Tall conifer trees and palms around the gardens make it cool and secluded. There's a fantastic covered barbecue terrace in a separate casita - a traditional Spanish 'little house' - with a professional barbecue, a sink, work-surfaces and bench-seating. This is a really lovely place to cook, eat and talk long into the evening, looking over the gardens. There's also a second terrace at the front of the house - and there's even table tennis table too!

Villa La Font de Nadal is a great house with fantastic gardens. It's an easy 20-minute walk from here into the Old Town of Pollenca with its cafes, shops, restaurants and historic sites. Beaches and the sea are also close by - Cala San Vicente and Puerto Pollenca are both just a 5-minute drive away.
