A wonderful stone farmhouse, oozing quality and a favourite of Villaparade staff is set in beautiful countryside just outside Pollenca Old Town.

The house is in a very peaceful and private place with wonderful views of woods and mountains. Inside, it's full of elegant and generous rooms which are light and bright. There's a classic combination of historic features and contemporary furniture. Most rooms have stone and whitewashed walls, with cool terracotta-tiled floors and beamed wooden ceilings. +

On the ground floor the entrance hall opens up into a suite of living rooms -there's a lounge with satellite tv and a cd stereo and d...vd, a dining area with a lovely dresser, and a second seating area with traditional benches around a wood-burning stove and an enormous original fireplace.

The kitchen is really well designed with lots of workspace and storage, a second dining table and appliances including a dishwasher and a microwave. Doors lead out to the terrace, pool and gardens.

There are three sunny bedrooms on the first floor - a double and two twin rooms. They all have terrific views across the garden and the valley and the double room has its own terrace overlooking the pool. There's a further twin room with ensuite shower bathroom upstairs on the second floor.

The bedrooms are simple and cool with wrought-iron beds and white linen. Two of the bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms and there's also a family shower bathroom. All the bedrooms are air-conditioned.

The terraces, pool and garden at the villa look out across beautiful countryside of the valley. There's a large pool with lawns on three sides, surrounded by conifer trees and old stone walls. The long pool terrace is the perfect place to sit and relax, cook on the barbecue, eat and talk - from breakfast time right through to long summer evenings.

Finca Malagarbo is a very elegant and welcoming house in a beautiful part of the countryside - with great walks and cycle routes nearby. It's a great holiday base for a family or a group of friends. It's in a very private place but it's still just several minutes' drive from Pollença and Puerto Pollença - so you can easily spend a day at the beach, shopping and eating out, or looking at historic sites. it is also only a 5-minute walk to the area's only vineyard Can Vidalet. Over 2.000 years ago the Romans knew the particular advantages of the area.They have continued this tradition and since 1995 this Bodega has been here in this mountainous landscape of Pollensa. Nestling in the foothills and under care of the experienced vintners the freshest, fruitiest, flavour-packed White and Rosé wines are created, as well as deep, full-bodied Reds of finest quality.You can also visit the winery for a wine-tasting for approximately 4 euros per person duirng the day.
