Description from the owner
The House is situated on the quay and from the large windows you will enjoy spectacular views of the working harbour and the open sea.
Polperro is an unspoilt traditional Cornish village. Bordered by white washed properties clinging to the hillside, the village is unchanged by time. Narrow winding streets, lined with many different shops, pubs and restaurants; lead you down to a picturesque and truly wonderful harbour. The lounge benefits from wonderful uninterrupted views across the harbour and out to sea. The large dining room to the rear provides access to the kitchen.
Both bedrooms have built in wardrobes. The master bedroom...Read more

We have stayed at Fisherman's House twice now, it is a perfect base in a beautiful village. The house is home from home with everything you could possibly need for a very comfortable stay. Views from the living room are breathtaking especially at sunrise. The pubs are all very welcoming and friendly. I highly recommend a stay at Fisherman's House, we hope to return year after year. :-)

Having decided in my early twenties, on a day trip to Polperro, that one day I would treat myself to a stay in a house overlooking the harbour there, I finally achieved my dream this year (35 years later)! Staying in the Fisherman's House was everything I dreamt it would be: wonderful view in a beautiful home, very tastefully renovated, very well kitted out yet a relaxed and laid back vibe to it. Having the Blue Peter pub next door was a bonus, as they gave us such a warm and friendly welcome. What also made a difference to our holiday experience was the way in which the owners handled the booking and how well they responded to any queries we had. I certainly hope to return to the Fisherman's House and feel confident to recommend it to others.

We had a great time at Fisherman,s House ,and were delighted by the quality of fixtyres and fittings.Your brochure does not do the accomodation justice.the house is in a great situation with beautiful views over the harbour and exellent access to the Blue Peter pub which is always worth a visit. We have visited Polperro many times and this is the best accomodation we have come across. We hope to re visit in the near future.

Had a really lovely holiday here. The rooms were large for a cottage, beautifully decorated and had everything we needed.
Location was superb right next to a pub (great for evening dinners!)
Very easy instructions for entry and for the appliances.
Would definately recommend and hope to visit again one day :) -

Beautiful cottage, with fabulous views. Every facility that you require for a restful break. I remember Polperro from childhood holidays and my memories were truly real!
The owners of the cottage have made a beautiful holiday home, we were joined by our daughter and her partner who also fell in love with Fishermans House. I would love to go back next year.
Car Park only 750m from the property, downhill stroll, don't bother trying to drive into harbour.
Highly recommended. -

the cottage is located at the far end of the harbour behind the blue peter pub. the views from the bedroom and living room are relaxing and picturesque.Cottage is clean and tidy and is good value for money. long walk from the car park though, my tip would be to drive down to literally the harbour and drop someone off with the luggage!! Small town with about 4 pubs, food generous and reasonable.

My adult son and I stayed in the cottage and we were both hoping for a quality cottage in a stunning location and we weren't disappointed! We really couldn't fault the cottage, it was beautifully furnished and every possible detail around our comfort and amenities had been taken care of. The views over the harbour are just wonderful and Polperro offers a great choice of excellent places to eat. Would highly recommend to anyone!

We had an amazing week in Fishermans House, it is such a lovely place, very modern yet traditionally and beautifully decorated and with everyhting you could possibly need!
It is in a fantastic location for the shops, pubs and restaurants and also for the coastal path & beaches.
You can catch a boat from the harbour right outside the cottage to Fowey for the day which is a brilliant trip, highly reccommended.
Our favourite pub was the 3 Pilchards which does amazing food and is very friendly. The Blue Peter next door is also really popular & busy.
If you are planning a trip to Polperro then defnitely stay at Fisherman's House - it is brilliant and we hope to go back soon! -

Been coming for years but the new 'wet room' didn't work for me. Out of keeping with the cottage but, most importantly, it didn't work - very poor pressure. When I've been walking for a day I want a bath not a damping down.

“Many thanks for choosing to stay in the house yet again. We always pride ourselves on the number of repeat customers we receive. Thank you also for the comment. The bathroom was totally refurbished last year and this is the first negative comment received to date. We are aware that the pressure is low and plan to install a pump in the near future.”
22nd November 2011 an inline fully automatic shower pressure pump was installed. This now provides an invigorating shower. Thank you. -

I was so impressed at the quick and frendly response I had when booking my holiday, the web site doesn't do the house and scenery justice. the house is like a home from home, very clean and tidy. From the living room window I loved watching all the fishing boats coming back to the harbour. Polperro is a beautiful village, we found some great walks along the coast.
We had a lovely time in the Pub next door (The Blue Peter) the food was excellent and there was a band playing for the evening entertainment. cant wait to go back again next year.
