Pineapple Place is a small, well-kept property just across Ocean Blvd. from one of South Florida's award-winning public beaches with lifeguards, a fishing pier and lighthouse. Pineapple Place is rated nationally as a Superior Small Lodging with full kitchens, king beds, free Wi-fi and all the comforts of home. Enjoy our swimming pool, BBQ area and tropical landscaping. A coin laundry is also located on the property.

We are centrally located in the safe, ocean side community of Pompano Beach, 15 minutes North of downtown Fort Lauderdale and 15 minutes South of Boca Raton. Walk to waterfront restaurants, shops, snorkel/dive boats,... charter fishing boats, jet ski and boat rentals, gym, day spa and more. The closest 36-hole golf facility is a five-minute drive. I-95 is a 10-minute drive for easy access to all South Florida business centers, attractions and shopping.

For the comfort of future guests, no smoking is allowed. Small dogs: inquire.

The two bedroom apartment has a king bed in the master and sleeper sofa in the living room, plus a three-person bunk bed in second bedroom (full bed on bottom and twin bed on top). Amenities include full kitchens, king bed, phone with free local calling and voice mail, cable TV, DVD and CD/stereo, air conditioning, heating, paddle fans, cooking utensils and dishes, fresh linens and bedding, hair dryer, beach towels and gear, games, books and popular videos.

Local Activities:

Water: Walk across the beach road to award-winning Blue Wave beach with picnic and play areas and lifeguards; snorkel and dive trips 3x daily; charter fishing boats, party fishing boats, public fishing pier, surfing, jet skis and boat rentals, gambling cruises.

Restaurants: some of the best restaurants in all of South Florida are a short walk or drive away. Dozens of really good ones, including waterfront dining, in all price ranges.

Shopping: walk to local beach shops. Enjoy the new Pompano Citi Centre with Macy's, Sears and JC Penney. Drive to many high-end shopping malls, trendy Las Olas Boulevard, also Sawgrass Mills outlet mall, Swap Shop worlds largest outdoor flea market, Festival Flea Market (giant indoor flea market).

Cultural: walk or drive to local establishments with live music, drive to world-class Broward Performing Arts Center, Discovery Museum, Art Museum, IMAX theater, nightclubs, dancing, comedy clubs, and all sorts of local and regional festivals.

Sports: all professional sporting events are represented at nearby arenas, plus the new Isle Casino, horse racing, Jai Alai, car racing, tennis, golf, nearby gyms.

Take I-95 North
Pass the Fort Lauderdale exits (Broward, Sunrise, Commercial, Cypress Creek)
Exit East on Atlantic Blvd. In Pompano Beach.
Cross the Intracoastal Waterway bridge and go all the way to the ocean.
Turn left on Briny Avenue along the ocean.
Pass NE 7th Street, and turn left on NE 7th Place
Pineapple Place is the second building on the right.
Parking is available by the entrance.

For longer stays, every 4th consecutive week is discounted or free. Rates for holidays & special events may be higher. We accept all major credit cards.

A 50% payment of the rent, $125 exit cleaning fee and 11% state and local taxes is required to confirm a reservation. The balance is due 30 days prior to arrival. A $500 security deposit is due prior to arrival, and is placed as a temporary hold on the funds--not a charge to the credit card.

  My family loved this rental! It was very clean. There were a lot of little conveniences that are not usually present in rental properties such as beach chairs, cooler, lots of soap and bags (we packed wet clothes in for our return trip). The property consists of only 4 units and it was like staying at a friend's place. The pool was clean, fenced-in and surrounded by tropical landscaping for privacy. The neighborhood was quiet and the gorgeous beach was only a block away. Booking was easy as Jillian was very helpful and knowledgeable. Their check-in system was easy and the 4 of us loved the keyless entry system. Later Elaine was even accessible to answer a restaurant question for us. Upon booking I didn't realize there wasn't a dishwasher but my kids got some much needed practice.
