"Casa das Clivias" is the perfect place for staying at São Miguel.
It is well located, inside the city but in a peaceful location, nice and quiet, in a private property.
It is a very well equipped wooden house, perfect for a couple or a couple with a child, and it has a porch in a beautiful private garden.
Access outside the city is quick, and main points at the city (market, supermarket, harbour, city centre, restaurants) are easily reachable by foot.
Parking on the street is comfortable.
Maria antonia, the owner, was really gentle with us and helped us a lot during the holidays (we found fresh fruit, bread and homemade jam at the arrival, she helped us with the car rental, she offered us towels for the thermal baths, and many other kind things). Cleaning is excellent and clean towels, more than enough for the week staying.
Highly recommended for enjoying the island.
