FarnhamFabulous self-catering cottage offering great value for money
Left on 09/10/2010 for a stay in February 2010
New, modern and clean cottage for 2, with the feeling of being on a small farm - yet you are right in the heart of a convenient and built up area. Comfy double bed, with great linen. Lovely decor - the cottage is finished to a very high standard. Open plan configuration. There is a patio with table and chairs which overlooks a paddock which we enjoyed. The large modern bathroom and kitchen area are lovely. The owners are the most wonderful people, and could not have done more to help us. The breakfast was excellent. This cottage would be our first choice when booking self-catering in the area. Easy access to M4. This review site has asked for any negatives to be listed, and I can only think of one small one, that being that the shower pressure was sometimes a little low. This was not a problem for us at all. If you are looking for something in the area, don't hesitate to book this gem - we wouldn't.

RuthinDelightful Cottage
Left on 09/03/2010 for a stay in April 2010
We stayed in the cottage for just under a week. The cottage is spacious and contains everything you need for a self catering holiday. We have two small dogs who were made very welcome and loved to run around the paddock attached to the cottage which was a real added bonus.
The cottage is clean and modern and the owners were very helpful. A very enjoyable stay -

HertfordshireRelaxing, beautifully decorated accommodation
Left on 09/02/2010 for a stay in July 2010
My husband and I, along with our 9 month old baby, stayed at The Stables earlier this summer and found it an excellent little studio style cottage, ideal for two. The cottage is beautifully decorated, well equiped, cosy and very comfortable. The private patio which overlooks the owner's large garden (which has it's own piece of river) provided an ideal sit-out for a relaxing cup-of tea. The location was ideal for exploring Cardiff and the surrounding areas as well doing day trips to the Gower region/Brecon Beacons. It was our first long trip with our baby, but we had no problems whatsoever as the owners kindly provided a travel cot and he enjoyed sitting out in the patio whenever we were in the cottage. Breakfast was complete with freshly laid eggs! I think this cottage provides a relaxing base for a couple/family with a young child to explore this area of Wales. We would love to stay there again!
