We were given a really warm welcome by the lady in reception who called for a man to take us to our lodge. Normally if you go to a holiday site you are given a map and given directions to your accommodation. He told us a bottle of wine, teabags, coffee, sugar and milk were all in the lodge for us. After a long journey this was a very welcome touch. The site is absolutely spotless and very well kept. It is set in beautiful surroundings. The staff are friendly and very helpful. They can also give you local knowledge which is really good.
Our lodge was two bedroom. Towels and toiletries were supplied for both the en-suite and the shower room. It was very nicely decorated and very clean. There was everything we needed in the lodge. It was like home from home and little things like candle holders in the living area, soft pretty cushions on the beds, vases of flowers all made it feel like five star accommodation. The site has a lovely safe children's play area too.
It is well situated to get to any parts of the Lake District and we managed to visit several places. There are some nice pubs in Pooley Bridge which serve meals and it is a five minute drive or about a 15 minute stroll from the site. It is at the top of Ullswater where you can take a trip on the Ullswater Steamer.
There is a pencil museum in Keswick which has the world's largest pencil in. The Rheged Discovery Centre is only a few minutes drive away.
Hillside Park is ideal for anyone who likes walking as there are some good walks around the area.
All in all it is a wonderful place to stay for everyone. Read more

The caravan site is in a great location being within a short walk of the village of Pooley Bridge and Lake Ullswater. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The lodge provides a high standard of accommodation and seems fairly new. The lodge is well equipped and a card, milk and wine was provided to welcome us. Apart from some used toiletries from a previous guest and a piece of stale bread under the sofa the lodge was spotless.
Really clean & tidy ... best ever in a log cabin

We received very good service. The accommodation was very warm, comfortable and in a good position both on the site and in relation to Pooley Bridge. The decking was well positioned to enjoy the sun ... when it shone! Local amenities were sufficient and one could do some good walks, just leaving the car on site. Children's playground and good cycling surfaces on the site were a bonus.

Jasmine Lodge is very clean (and it accepts dogs which is amazing). We even took our hoover but we didn't need it. Very comfortable accommodation and has everything you need (apart from a lack of cooking utensils, so take a few of your own). Campsite really friendly and quiet with lots of walking and cycling from the doorstep. We loved it and will definitely return.

Staff were very friendly and accomodation was lovely and well maintained, we would certainly be staying there again. Only down side was the childrens play area it is very muddy because of the grass and dew, it could probably do with a different flooring.

I was suprised when I booked it that you could take pets, as i'll be honest most places are of lesser spec.
Wanted a relaxing and peaceful break and that is exactly what we got. We took our energetic labrador and there was plenty of fields for him to have a free run around. Only downside was the lack of lighting on the park itsself, not sure if this was due to the time of season - so take a torch if you do take a late stroll with the other half or your pets.
