KingstonNew Years Eve 2011
Left on 02/23/2012 for a stay in December 2011
We love Spicy Hill Villa! We have no complaints.
The staff was gracious and helped us with any and everything. The food was great Denny was able to cook us anything we wanted.
The rooms are spacious and we loved the open feel of the house. The area on which the villa sits is big enough to have a small event or plays games like badminton and football. It would be great for a family with kids. Lots of space to play and relax.
We also made use of the games room by having many pool and table tennis tournaments day and night.
Overall it was a great experience and we will be staying at Spicy Hill Villa again in the future!
Thanks for a great new years eve =)

What a fabulous property! Understated luxury and elegance; separate games house and friendly, solicitous staff and the cuisine was, in a word, 'delectable'!
A group of freinds and I went to the villa for a BFF weekend and the bedrooms and bathrooms were beautifully appointed and comfortably accommodated all ten of us. The grounds were lush and manicured at the same time and the entire setting just very conducive to relaxation, cameraderie and rejuvenation. The staff, Chef-Denny; Butler-Keith & Housekeeper-Karen, were just great and spoiled us rotten. We so deserved it:) Anything we wanted to eat they got the ingredients and prepared it. Wonderful weekend. .
We would definitely go back to Spicy Hill and highly recommend this villa in Port antonio, Jamaica

Fairy Hill is absolutely enchanting only a stones throw away from the lovely San San beach. If you have no desire to leave the house you can relax by the pool and be treated like a king/queen by the staff

Although short, my week-end stay at Spicy Hill was exactly what I expect in a vacation home (and a little bit more). Spicy Hill is located directly off the main road, but you could never guess as it is surrounded by lots of lush vegetation and gives the impression of being totally secluded. It is also across the street from one of Port antonio's finest beaches. The home is very tastefully decorated and comfortable in so may ways. There are so many little nooks to curl up in with a book. The villa staff delivered great service and prepared some of the finest meals and cocktails...
Go ahead and book, you are going to love it! -

My wife and three chilren stayed at Spicy Hill Villa October last year and we had an excellent time. It is definately geared towards families who are looking for a comfortable, tranquil and enjoyable environment with all the ammenities to have loads of fun.
You step out from the dinning area on to a patio where there is a picturesque sparkling blue kidney shaped swimming pool that over looks a huge lawn where we played volly ball and table tennis in the club house.
Kudoes to Denny and Keith, two very creative cooks who introduced us to all the popular jamaican dishes which all tasted devine! Man I miss those banana milk shakes by the pool :-)
I give this vacation spot a two thumbs up and it is just a short walking distance from a magical river and beach call "French Mans Cove".
My family and I will definately be vacationing in jamaica and staying at Spicy Hill Villa again! -

This is the place for vacationers of all ages. My family and friends have been repeat guests at Spicy Hill for many years; from our children were young ones until now that they are teenagers nearing adulthood. How time flies when you are having fun. Pure magic!
There is room to romp on the expansive lawns, nooks to explore in the lush gardens, a fountain at which to place your far-fetched wishes. Just magical!
For more structured and interactive activities, the Games Room in the garden, which is set apart from the villa, allows for robust competition, while the large pool and deck can keep you outdoors all day. And yet, you are still in the comfort of your "home away from home". Sheer magic!
Back inside, your well-appointed home environment is kept in ship shape by well-trained staff who are as warm, friendly and efficient, as they are unobtrusive. We used to take our food shopping to Spicy Hill for them to prepare and serve. With the current meal plan, everything is in place when you get to Spicy Hill. Total magic!
The journey from Montego Bay or Kingston is picturesque, and there are interesting stops along the way or which can be visited while staying at Spicy Hill (Boston Jerk Centre, Riech Falls, the town of Port antonio with its historic buildings and modern Marina, San San Beach and rafting on the Rio Grande). Our travels to Spicy Hill started out in the day when the roads were a challenge. With the new and resurfaced highways the drive is as enjoyable as it is picturesque. A magical journey!
What more can I say but emphasize that my 5-star rating of Spicy Hill is honestly well-earned and deserving. Jamaican magic!

With a pool just outside the door and the beautiful Caribbean Sea just across the horizon, the ambience is perfect for relaxation and reinvigoration.
This is the ideal place to enjoy the finest Jamaican hospitality and the perfect celebration of authentic Jamaican cuisine, plus whatever else fits your fancy. We always look forward to going to Spicy Hill and only lament that it is always too short a stay there! It is a 5 star place in every way. -

If you want an extraordinary getaway where you will be cared for, pampered and well-fed, there is no place as special as Spicy Hill! Nestled quietly on a hill overlooking Jamaica's North coast, you can walk down to Frenchman's Cove and enjoy one of the most secluded, beautiful beaches in the world! We took day trips to Reach Falls, Boston Bay, Blue Lagoon, Long Bay, Rio Grande rafting, horseback riding and more. When we returned we were always greeted with a scrumptious Jamaican dinner made by smiling staff just for us. Denny, Karen and Keith treated us like royalty. When we were too exhausted to do another excursion, it was heavenly just relaxing all day by the pool, enjoying the cool breezes flowing through the central area of the house. All we had to do is sit down for the next meal! Can you imagine? Denny even played pool and ping pong with the kids, which they loved! You know they had a good time because they cried when we had to leave. We almost did, too. We can't wait to return!

I must say, having travelled to all continents of the world (excluding antartica for obvious reasons) staying in a villa like this was the best way to capture the true jamaican vibe. It was close to boston jerk so we got to eat jerk chicken and festival and Frenchmans cove beach (which was the location of shooting the Lord of the Flies and Cocktails) is just down the road.
The best thing we enjoyed over our stay was the staff, they always were there to help and gave us banana dacries whenever we wanted as we tanned by the pool. Another exciting adventure was the walks along the road where we saw the true jamaican fawna...It was close the a horse stable so we got to ride on horses up to goblin hill and back. And becuase blue hole was so near to the villa we got to swim in the lagoon across to a large almond tree where local boys climbed trees like acrobats and jumbed off the limbs...we tried to copy them but they were far too agile to catch up...I trully loved Spicy Hill. -
