My family and i have been coming out during spring break to port aransas area for over 20 years now and my only regret is not finding Mr & Mrs Emanueles luxurious condos sooner. The beach is just a boardwalk away, the view from the balcony is so refreshing not to mention the pools; one heated right outside the front door to keep watch on family enjoying themselves as lunch, breakfast or dinner is being prepared. The fully loaded kitchen makes any request an easy one to fill. My family and I hope to continue this trent for many years to come.

The unit was uncomfortable and run down to the point that you couldn't tell whether the linens were clean. Several towels were badly stained and one had dark brown stains that I can only hope were tar. The master bed mattress was uneven (it sloped from the foot toward the head), squeaky, and overly soft. The queen and twin beds had pillows in shams (which were stiff), but no pillows in pillow cases and no extra pillow cases that we could use to swap for the shams. A chair on the balcony was broken, the front storm door had a broken spring. When I emailed and then called about the linens, the owner was unapologetic and defensive, although she eventually instructed her cleaning staff to bring additional towels and pillow cases. It was a shame, because the condo complex was very decent and has a great boardwalk to the beach with very nice cleanup facilities. The pools looked great. I might consider renting another unit in the complex but never one from this owner.

Guest complained about being short 1 top sheet on the queen bed
Towels get stained and we replace them 2 x year nov and april
We were not told of the master bed mattress (New mattress and expensive)
Not told bed squeaked
Not told bed was soft
I do maid services when I am there nov-jan and april-may and always
had lots of pillow cases
I asked guest what she required I had maid fulfill her requirements
She wrote maid nice note and left her $20
The front storm door may have been broken by guest as when door is pushed to the limit it cannot close without considerable readjusting had management repair the door
I told guest maid would remove the chair next day as she was cleaning 2 other units for guests check ins on that day and guest would leave next day
She also told me that there was a cracked glass in cupboard I asked her to please discard it
She told me she was not happy and that my unit was too expensive
We cannot afford each other

Traveled with children, teens, & seniors. Seniors enjoyed the view and the kids enjoyed the beach and pool. All the comforts of home. Washer and dryer were a plus as towels needed frequent laundering. 10 minutes to Padre Island and 5 minutes to Port aransas. Kitchen is fully equipped with pots, pans, dishes, etc. Bbq pits available as well. Would recommend some extra dish towels for drying pots & pans and other dishes not placed in dishwasher. Front entrance has a great view of the pool as well. Plenty of tables outside as well. We hope to return next summer and rent this unit again.

My family and I have stayed here in Margaret's condo for 5 years in a row. The location is wonderful, spacious 3 bedroom condo, short board walk to the beach, fun gameroom, pools are OK, grills convenient to our room, washer/dryer in condo, functional kitchen, volleyball court is fun.Those are all the positives of La Mirage and Unit 232, 233 (both 3 bedroom condos that have an ocean view). Really the only down sides are the quality of the mattresses and couch. I wish they were better. I highly recommend renting with Margaret and making memories at Port a!

We always enjoy our time in TX. Love the space and the views. We found the condo clean and comfortable. The only thing that did not work was the dvd player. We do feel after visiting for the past 3 years, that it is time for updates, both inside and outside of the units/s. We would love to come and visit again.

We do appreciate that you choose our units for your annual vacation, The DVD was a new Sony’s that we just installed, we did confused the hook up colors amber with yellow, our apology, but you should have called us immediately to have us correct it, since we were on the property.
Despite low revenues in 2010 we did upgrade in this unit ‘s 2 bathrooms wit one new tub, with 5 condos we are in constant maintenance and go by priorities.
For the the outside we have a 3 year special assessment of $800,000 for upgrades.

Over the past years my wife & I have stayed at many of the condos in & near Port aransas. After discovering La Mirage 232, it has become our favorite. We've stayed in it several times. It's always clean & well maintained, & it's perfectly located. We've found that we have to reserve quite a while in advance because others have discovered 232, also. A few words about Port aransas in general for those who have never been there... It's a laid back beach town. We've found Galveston & South Padre to be much too commercial. Port "A" is our choice as a getaway. The fresh seafood is great, & you'll find the non-seafood menus around town surprisingly good. Go to Port "A", stay in La Mirage 232, walk on the beach, & eat fresh seafood. It doesn't get much better than that.

We stayed for 4 days the week after Xmas. We stayed in 232 and the unit was very clean and comfortable. We found it to be one of the best stocked condos ever, as we prepared most of our meals inside. Plenty of towels and extra bedding, too, and a washer dryer as well. This is the 4th time we have stayed at La Mirage and have always enjoyed the condo and our stay.
