This condo has an open livingroom and dining area. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need. The master bedroom has a king size bed and the second bedroom two twins. There a two full baths one in each bedroom. Pets are not permitted in this unit and smoking is allowed outside only. Oh, did I mention the sunrises are amazing! While the condo was in a perfect location, we had major problems. Air condition and kitchen stove went out Saturday evening ruining the familydinner I was cooking. Electrician had to replace circuit breaker and stove still did not function correctly. Roaches were found in kitchen and bath room. Shower head was broken in a bathroom. These items were reported to Port A Escape.

We had a wonderful time at the Beachhead condos. I came with a couple of girl friends for our annual trip to the beach. The property was wonderful. The condo was updated, clean and had everything we needed. (Except Wifi -- they say they have it, but it is spotty at BEST.) The walk to the beach and drive to restaurants was short. One thing to remember: bring your own toilet paper! If you run out, they refuse to bring more! Otherwise -- book this condo for a super fun time in Port A!

The unit interior was very nice, appropriately furnished, and clean. The grounds and parking area are unattractive, but the dedicated boardwalk to the beach was perfect. The condo complex overall is an aging property, but the price was very realistic.

The condo was very comfortable and we felt right at home there. Good location ... unfortunately weather was too cold to swim but the pool looked nice. My kids loved the playground and volleyball courts right outside out condo ... very family friendly

Overall, the stay was fine. The rooms were updated and clean, the location was great and we especially liked the boardwalk all the way to the the beach without having to walk in the sand dunes. Our disappointment came in after losing electricity in one bathroom and unable to log onto the wireless internet. We left messages for the property manager and never received a returned call. Then upon checking out and informing the staff of our issues, their only response was "thanks for letting us know." Not my idea of customer service or satisfaction. This is the only reason we might hesitate coming back.

Our stay at Jewel in the Sand was great! The condo was the perfect size (two bedrooms, onking bed & two twins). When we arrived the condo clean and well-equipped (pots, dishes, cleaning supplies, paper towels, etc.). The location is awesome with the boardwalk to the beach right outside, volleyball and a nearby pool. Can't wait to go back.

The bathrooms were not properly cleaned. Some of the kitchen equipemnt was damaged or not working.
The beach and the pool are really nice. So is the rest of the condo. -

Second year we have been in the same condo. We are making memories with our granddaughter.
We will be back next year. Great place to stay. Condo is always spotless. Pool is great.
Playset a little worn and rough but works. Quiet and relaxing, no wild parties going. Love it. -

The condo was amazing, more than I could have hoped for. The view was amazing, and we had easy access to the beach. We brought our 2 ear old daughter with us, who also enjoyed herself in the nearby playground and swimming pool. We are already trying to plan our next trip!!!

We did not see the fine print of arrivals after 5PM - so we were having to hunt down the management company trying to get our keys. We called and sent and email. They finally replied at 8PM giving us a phone number to call for keys - but it was the same number we had been calling all along. When someone finally called us back - all they gave us was the code to get the keys from the lock box. Now why they could not have left that on voicemail for us or email I do not know. Needless to say after a long drive - it was a real hassel to get checked in.

gate on walkway to beach remained open and not secured all 5 days we were there. parties were loud and fights broke out all hours of the night and we never saw security yet the pool closing time of 10:00p.m. was strictly enforced. There were many barking dogs yet we understood there were no pets allowed. No clean towels provided and this wasnt disclosed to us upon renting after this service had been provided in the past and trash was only picked up once during our stay. AC didnt keep condo cool and fridge wasnt cool enough to keep milk in it.

Loved everything about my stay! I especially loved how the pool was totally in sight from the party room - great with kids! One suggestion regarding safety; The ladies restroom by the pool should be updated making it less crowded and "dungeon" like - kind of scary to go by yourself and not set up for girls to go together for safety purposes. Also, both women and men's restrooms by pool should have noticable sign from pool area - had trouble finding them, espeically the men's restroom.

We had a great time staying at Beachhead. The price was great compared to other condos in this area...this was cheap for all you get! The location was perfect. Close to the beach and still close to restaurants and other stores. The property management staff was very friendly, proffesional, and accomodating!

After staying at the Beachhead for over 35 years we will no longer be staying there. The picnic areas were all under water and we were not able to use any of the outdoor facilities. I asked if we could get some compensation and the staff at Caldwell Banker were very rude and uncaring especially an employee named Tracy. We have had many wonderful memories and it is sad that we were left with a bad one. I hope that this problem is corrected but as for us, we will not be back. We have fond the staff and accomendations at the Pelican more what we are looking for.
