This condo has an open livingroom and dining area. The kitchen is fully equipped. The master bedroom has a king size bed and the second bedroom has two twins.There is also a queen size sleeper sofa in the living area. There a two full baths one in each bedroom. Pets are not permitted in this unit and smoking is allowed outside only.Oh, did I mention the sunrises are amazing! Glad to find a great location at fair price at the last minute. The 2 full baths is a definite plus!! This unit needs renovating and updates! Walk in and very musty smell. Only one small tv in living room. Slow drain in bath, rusty looking fridge and micro. While very clean, a big visual turn off. Kitchen needs more wares. S/P shakers were empty. Bedding all musty. The pool area is fabulous but I guess they only expect 5 people as this was about how many loungers there are. We did have to kill a very big roach. Please remodel, renovate and resupply. I will pay the upgrade price!!! The location is excellent. I would not come back to this particular unit. I hope Beach Head has remodeled units 'cause location is fantastic and so is the pool area. Maybe a better and cleaned grill also. We did grill but used new grill racks. I guess for the price, it was a fair stay.

Love Beachhead and this was our ninth year at the complex. We feel that Winter Texans have not been dealt with in a fair and courteous manner by the management company. Many of we returning guests feel that Winter Texans are not valued by the management company. Condos are being rented out from under some while they are still in residence with no notification.

The weekend we were in Port A was a cold, windy one but the views from the rental property were unimpeded by the weather. The unit was clean and comfortable. We would definitely stay here again.

This unit was showing its age but can't beat the location. Had a wonderful time and will be back!! :) Port Aransas was great and the Kahootz Dolphin Boat ride was fantastic!!

We had an amazing stay, our condo was right upfront and we had a nice ocean view. I brought my mother, husband, son and grandson...3 generations and we had a wonderful time. The beach is just a short 3 minutes walk, and there is outdoor showers to clean off sand and the pool was well kept, large and clean. The only small downside was that we brought our stuff to play tennis but the tennis courts were not not playable, no enclosure or nets. But we still had a great time.

My family and I had a great time at the Beachhead Condominiums. Location was great, pool was clean and it was located in a section of the island that was legal for you to drive a golf cart. We will be going back!

Our group had a wonderful time. The only suggestion I have is to replace the locks in the doors-they are very old and some do not work. We have been coming to Beachhead for over 25 years and were very glad to see the improvements that have been made within the last 5 years. We wouldn't think of staying anywhere else.

You cannot beat the location! Everything in the condo was fine,but the bathrooms are pretty tiny. Only issue we had was not getting a late checkout when requested because they had a lot of condos to clean. I felt it would have been easy to do mine later in the day and give us the 2 extra hrs. When we turned our key in, they wanted us to stay another night for a discounted rate. Why couldn't we get late checkout, then?

We had a fabulous view of the dunes and water. The condo was immaculate. We had everything we needed in the kitchen and the bathrooms had extra towels. My family couldn't have been happier at a 5-star hotel. I fact the condo was by far better.

Yes, I would stay here again, but there were a few things I'd hope to be different.
First, the cable was not hooked up and in fact had a broken connection. The building management acted very fast and repaired it so we were able to get a few channels - it rained a full day while we were there :|
The wifi signal was very weak and required a login/password that was very different from what was posted on the reference sheet in the kitchen. I normally don't bring work to the beach, but had to get some deliverables sent out before I could enjoy myself.
On our last night night there, we were visited by the biggest, fastest cockroach I'd ever seen. We did not manage to catch it as it moved too quickly under the furniture. Needless to say, we slept with the lights on that night !
The location was perfect, we had a very short walk on the boardwalk to the beach, where I have never felt sand so powdery. The waves were fun and allowed for lots of body surfing. We can't wait to return to our beach getaway! -

First of all we were moved to a different condo, which was alright. Woman in the office said she gave us a 20% discount, which we already got for booking during the weekday. So really didn't give us anything for changing rooms. The first thing we noticed is that the room smelled horrible with Pesticides. We called office and they stated oh it shouldn't smell that way. Well it did smell and they did nothing to fix it!! The condo smelled for four days and we sprayed febreeze the entire time. Plus woke up with headaches due to smell. The complex was nice, but your service is horrible. I even explained to the woman at check out about the smell and she said Oh Sorry! We also called about extra towels... guess you don't do that either, the guy stated to come to their office he had about three towels. Sure I will get in my car and drive two miles. We only had four towels in each bathroom for four nights. Plus when we checked in we had left over food in frig and a box of wine that was empty. I'm glad to know where my cleaning fee goes. The condo we had said four to five stars on your ratings on tripadvisor. I would of just liked the issue to be fixed and no one helped. I used your company last year.

I remembered the add saying the unit had a washer and dryer.
If there was a washer and dryer it was locked up and we had no access to it. If it's not going to be accessable don't advertise it... -

The place is at a nice location on the island but the unit does need some maintenance. Both bathroom sinks barely drain and when we first used the kitchen sink we flooded the kitchen as the drainage pipe wasn't hooked up. We put it back together and then tried to not use that side of the sink the rest of the visit!

I am a real estate agent in the Austin, TX area & really enjoyed our girls trip to Port A. Brenda was very personable over the phone, it was great putting a face with the friendly voice & professional manner. The condo we rented was clean, safe, in a great location, easy access to the beach & the unit was in wonderful condition. I plan to go back with family & stay at this same location. Many properties around Port A are not as nicely kept & are in poor condition - this one was excellent!

We spent 3 night at Beachhead in July. It was a wonderful place. Great location, nice pool, playground for the kids, short walk to the beach. We plan on returning. We actually stayed a couple more days because Beachhead didn;t have any availability. We stayed at a place that was twice as much per night but not nearly as nice.

the view was excellent. the extensive rework of all decking and stairwells was great. would have like to have wifi access but when u vacation who wants email. the only bad thing was the mosquitoes (even on the beach when sun went down). great time and we had a wonderful wedding on the beach

You need plugs in both bathroom. There is no way to dry or style hair. Blankets need washing after each guest. They had an odor. All in all everthing was great.
