I loved the location. However, the plumbing seemed to be an issue. the kitchen sink and dishwasher were acting up and water started accumulating on the floor. We were told the maintenance man would address it but we still saw water and the towel was still on the floor wet. Other than this, I like the place a lot

We were pleased with our condo unit and especially the location. Walking the beach and riding our bikes around town was enjoyable. We had a little frustration with the slow wifi, but it wouldn't keep us from returning.

We enjoyed our stay overall. Just a few suggestions though: the pots and pans were scary to use (most were old and rusty. Might help to list the amenities you provide also. The instructions for trash pick up weren't clear so we had no idea when/where trash would be picked up. The A/C was very loud. We love the proximity to the beach. We enjoyed our stay though and plan to come back.

You can only see the dunes from the balcony and the kitchen could have been stocked better. Bring coffee filters, utensils, serving dishes if you plan on cooking. We had trouble with wifi and the smell from their cleaners/detergent on sheets was somewhat overpowering. Other than that, really cute condo.

My husband and toddler stayed at Turtle Bay 104BH this past weekend. We liked the condo; you could tell it was old and had been renovated, but the renovations were done well. Best thing about the condo is location - you can take a boardwalk directly to the beach in less than 3 minutes' walk. Property was quiet and maintained pretty well. It's not the Four Seasons, but it's perfectly adequate for a beachside stay. I would stay there again.

Clean inside condo but property grounds not the best. Needs updating, better landscaping. Tennis courts in disarray, but so what if you don't care about tennis. Pool was nice. Boardwalk was nice. Access to beach was nice. Unit was updated but seemed pricey for the age and competition in the area.

Perfect location close to pool and playground. We had toddlers in our group and enjoyed the convenience of having pool and playground close. The condo balcony was a great outside safe escape for the toddlers and adults enjoyed the relaxing view.

We were told by the management that we should have brought our own soap and toilet paper??? Since when do you have to bring soap and toilet paper when you are going there for a 3 night stay? If you are renting for a month I can understand, but not for 2 or 3 nights.

We had a great time staying in Port A! This particular property was great! The new play scape was great since it kept our kids busy for a long time. We were wanting to watch our favorite College team play Saturday afternoon and were able to do so in the community center while the rest of our party swam in the pool. The grounds crew were very helpful and very polite. I would definitely return to this property.

We stayed at 104BH for a long weekend. My wife, our two kids and Grammy found the condo in great shape. The three beds in the guest room worked great for the kids and Grammy. The pool and play scape were the perfect addition to having the beach nearby.
The weather was okay. A strong offshore wind brought a roaring surf and a beach covered with seaweed. We still managed to enjoy the beach, but the seaweed was a challenge. Surf fishing was fun, a fish on almost every cast using shrimp, but nothing of any size.
The condo was very nice. Our biggest complaint was no coffee filters, but we left the remainder of what we picked up in town. -

The condo was fine. The location was good and very close to where our other family members were staying. I did have a couple of problems that I shared with the manager at the Beachhead. The oven didn't come on. One of the blinds in the living room was pulled up when we arrived, and I could not get it to come down. The most serious problem was that the tile floor was dangerously slick even when dry. I was told that that was the new floor the owners had just installed. I suggest that they down some rugs for safety.

Waco, TXOur only objection was...
Left on 08/03/2010 for a stay in July 2010
Our only objection was after arriving at Beachhead ( 7 hour drive) we had to get back in the car & go to another location to get the key & check in. Then on checking out we had to again drive to another location to return key. This was MOST inconvenient, it sure seems as if this could be done at Beachhead as had been done in the past.
Our condo was spotless and had just been completely redecorated. Pool area was also spotless & everyone we met around pool most friendly.
Would definitely recommend but would suggest guest understand fully the checking in process and make sure their condo has been redecorated, as the units are getting some age on them. We have been staying at Beachhead since they were brand new many years ago & have always been pleased.
