We recently finished remodeling the condo, it includes New Furniture and Appliances, Washer/Dryer, DVD/Blue Ray Player, I-Pod Stereo, Full kitchen, and Community Bar-B-Que Pits. Fantastic Ocean & Bay sunrise views!

Office staff was extremely helpful and kind at every encounter via phone or in person. There is a game room, hot tub, and pool but we spent a total of 30 min enjoying this as we'd rather spend our time at the beach or exploring the island. They are extremely pet friendly and we appreciate that so much! Our dog had the best time as well!
The condo has a few flight of stairs, which made my husband a little tired lugging up all of our stuff, but it was worth it in our opinion. There are 3 TVs one in the living, master, and guest room. The TV in the master bedroom needs a little work but overall satisfactory for the short time we even had the TV turned on. There are plenty of pillows/sheets/throw blankets and towels for a family of 4-6.
My favorite part was the large and roomy balcony which faces the beach/bay. I made sure to have my coffee out there every chance I could and breakfast & dinners as well. The wind makes it a little difficult for children to be happy out there for long but I loved watching the sun rise each morning. The kitchen was well stocked with plates/cups/utensils/pot & pans. All you need to do is stock up the fridge with your own food.
There is both walking/driving access to the board walk which leads straight onto the beach. I walked to the beach everyday with a bag in hand and my husband drove our other larger items (ice chest, chairs, and EZ up) onto the beach (about a 5-7 min drive).
We are already planning our next short, mini vacation in just a couple of months. We can't wait to come back.! -

We stayed at this condo for about a week after our wedding in Corpus Christi TX. I love Port aransas and wanted to stay in a condo in that area for a little get away. This one was perfect! It was such a lovely, comfortable condo in a great location. I would love to own a condo just like this. It also had a really nice pool and hot tub! Its a great stay for adults and for children/families as well. It was a little pricey (about 250 a night) but for the location and 5 days we stayed there (during spring break - why it was pricier!) it was worth it.

We truly enjoyed our stay at the Darnell unit. It was very tastefully decorated and very comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked and had all gadgets needed to cook with. The beds were very comfortable, and I loved the shower in the master suite. It was very clean and I would love to stay there again.

Lovely condo, great view from wrap-around balcony, nicely decorated, every possible amenity provided, comfortable beds, lots of space. But you do have to walk up 4 flights of stairs with 8 stairs each, so if you have small children or seniors, or disabled persons in your party, forget it! Also, it's not right on the beach; you have to walk 10 minutes down a path, then take the boardwalk to the beach. If you are carrying things, this is not so good.

The place was great! After a long, late night trip, it was wonderful to settle into this comfortable condo. The furniture was nice (huge bed), kitchen well equipped (love the ice maker), football looked great on the flat screens, and porch was welcoming for breakfasts and dinners. This appears to be the best located condo on the property. It is also nice to be able to include our little friend (Boston Terrier) in our short vacation. I hope that future guests continue to take care of the place and not take advantage of the pet policy because we plan to return soon!

We enjoyed our stay at the Mustang Island Beach Club. My children liked the gameroom and we heard it was going to be remodeled in the future. The only thing that was a little different for us was having to take all the sheets off the beds and put them by the washing machine to avoid being charged an extra fee. I can see putting all the dirty towels together and taking out the trash, but I just thought that striping the beds was a little excessive. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and the Condo was very nice. The only thing that was annoying were all the dogs barking around the complex that could be heard in our condo and especially by the pool. Since we don't bring our pets on vacation, I am not sure that we would return because of this.

My wife and I had a great stay here with my parents and our 2 weenie dogs. The condo was nicer than I expected and probably the nicest I've stayed at in Port a! One bonus was the 2 big screen Tv's for watching sports on Saturday. The deck at the condo was awesome in the evenings after the sun set. Overall, we loved the condo and there are only a few minor construction items that seemed odd (like the vanities are oddly low). But everything in the condo was very clean and quite accommodating.
The boardwalk to the beach is about 75 yards away but there is a road you can drive to get there so we did that instead of walking. Other than Port Royal, there aren't any other resorts in this area of beach so we found it to be less crowded than closer to the town of Port aransas. We did hang out at the condo's swimming pool a bit. We had fun but the pool is small and not as well maintained. I cleaned out the leaves, dirt, and dead bugs myself with the net before using it.
Booking was a breeze and the office staff was very helpful. Overall we had a blast and would recommend this condo to a friend or stay there again. -

This is a perfect condo for families with dogs. The condo was very clean, comfortable and huge balcony. It had nice furniture with tv's in all rooms. The kids loved their room and the beds were comfortable. The pool is very small but we were usually the only ones there so it worked great. It is a short walk to the beach but beware, we saw a snake.

The condo has a big balcony(my farorite area) with a beautiful view of the beach. You have everything at your finger tips...stay in the condo and Bar-B-Que or step out to one of the near by restuarants. Enjoy a soak in the pool or play a game of pool Etc. Lots of things to do to keep everyone entertained. I am not big on traveling but at this condo I felt right at home will definitely make a return trip.

My family and I had a wonderful time in suite 206. It was a very good looking condo with all it's upgrades, the view from the balcony was beautiful, and there was plenty of room for all of us. I also really appreciated the book on the coffee table that had dining reviews, maps, and other great information for visitors.
I would have to say that the only thing that bothered me was that the washer and dryer were not part of the upgrade. They were very old and I had to stand on a chair to clean out the lent basket from the dryer. Although the washer worked, the dryer took two cycles to dry and didnt even work on the morning we left. The deciding factor in renting this condo was because it had a washer and dryer in it. Other than that, we had a really good time and the condo is very nice to stay in. -

The condo exceeded my expectations. The pictures were gorgeous, but in person was even better. The condo had everything you could think of needing: dishes, silverware, pots, pans, towels, dvds, games, washer/dryer, and beautiful views! We really enjoyed the beautiful stretch of beach in front of the unit, and it was only about a 5 minute walk to the beach, but you could also drive 2 minutes. There is nothing separating the ocean/beach with the view from this balcony. It was amazing. If I had to say anything negative, it would be the stairs. There were basically 4 sections/flights of stairs you had to climb to get to this unit, but it's totally worth it. The pool and hot tub were also outstanding. I can't say enough great things about it, except I know I will be back again! Thanks so much!!

What a wonderfully comfortable and stylish condo with views of the beach that will last a lifetime. Usually, the prices charged in Port a during the summer are beyond outragous...until we found these condos on the internet (that would take pets, too)! It was a joy to step into your place. The decor was so inviting and comfortable. The king size bed provided us with the best sleep ever! So glad that you had the outdoor grill for us to use...the filets were delicious! We sat on the balcony each and every morning and evening...the balcony-high table and chairs were perfect for seeing the beach and dunes. I must say that we chose your place based on the pictures and most importantly, we could take our dog...for us that was a must. Bo, our dog, spent all his time on the beach, balcony, and his bed. Thanks for the magical vacation and letting us share your beautiful condo. The ladies in the front office were delightful, helpful, and informative. The only draw back was not being able to stay longer. We look forward to another visit to Port a in condo #206. Thanks so much.

The rental at Mustang Island Beach Club was all it said it would be. The living room was comfortable and pretty. There were games in the cabinet under the TV. There were large screen TVs in every room. There were enough dishes and utensils to cook everything we wanted. The washer and dryer was very handy and helped us keep our clothes and towels clean and dry.The condo was user friendly The only draw backs were the amount of stairs you had to climb every time you went out and in, and the massive amount of grass burrs that made walking the dog almost impossible.

My wife and I loved staying at this place, very clean beautiful view of the Gulf. 5 Minutes walking distance from the beach, 5 minute drive to the town.

We have stayed in this condo twice now and we love it more and more every time. Very nicely designed and remodeled, also has all the amenities that you will ever need. Its just a few steps to the beach and they also allow pets, so that was a plus for us. Very friendly staff, I would definately recommend this condo to any family or friend.

December is one of our favorite times to visit the beech. We have stayed at this complex before, but this is our first stay in 206. We will defiantly be back. The condo was so inviting with a well equipped kitchen.

Hoping to find better next time.
Lot's of stairs, Hard to park big pickups there, No maid service to change Linens/Towles, etc... , bad sand stickers on the grounds.
Plus the week we went - had Bad Red Tides - Don't Go During Red Tides.

When we got there the place was spotless, and welcoming. They had books with tourist spots and maps and coupons to make venturing out easy. The deck overlooks the ocean so you have a incredible view at sunrise and sunset. They had games for the kids in the entertainment center. All the rooms had flat screen TVs with cable when you wanted to just relax. We really enjoyed our stay and would go back again!

My plan when booking my stay at Mustang Island Beach Club was to get away for a peaceful weekend alone. My stay in unit 206 exceeded all of my expectations. Not only was the unit itself comfortable and beautifully decorated, but the balcony and the spectacular views were much more than I had hoped for! My weekend was very quiet and relaxing. No noise from traffic or other guests. Access to the beach was an easy walk (although I could have driven my car to the boardwalk). Another plus was the information notebook that the owners provided. It was packed with information on area restaurants, a grocery store that would deliver my groceries, and things to see or do while visiting the island. I will definately return with my family and recommend this particular unit to friends.

This was our first visit to Port aransas and we were very pleased with the condo we rented. Unit #206 is clean, roomy and very comfortable. We especially loved the wrap-around balcony and the hammock swing. Our teenagers loved the i-Pod stereo, flat screen tvs and board games that were part of the many extra little touches that the owner has provided. The unit itself is beautifully furnished with tasteful decor and comfortable furniture. The appliances are all modern and the washer and dryer in the unit is convenient. The game room downstairs is an added bonus and our kids enjoyed playing pool, ping pong and foosball. The staff is very friendly and courteous. The owner Michelle was very helpful and answered my many questions about the area, etc. I would definitely rent this condo again and would recommend it to anyone looking for an affordable, but classy rental.

The condo was nice and had a great view. Most of the interior had been remodeled. The bathrooms are in great need of updating! We loved that the owners left toys,puzzles and games for the kids. The exterior needs work. Every morning rusty liquid would be dripping all over the balcony from the roof. The hooks outside were rusted and ruined my son's new swim shirt. The aC was having a hard time cooling the condo but we were at the beach and pool most of the time. Had fun!

Condo was great. Everything clean and new. Office very friendly. Hot tub needs to be repaired. Hike to beach or drive your vehicle to beach. Great for the money.

We really enjoyed the condo. It was comfortable and well furnished. The beach is fairly close but easier to drive than to walk. Nice uncrowded beach! My kids really enjoyed the pool as well.
The one thing I would change at the complex is to add propane grills. Its a hassle to have to do charcoal every time and time consuming.
The management is very friendly and helpful. We had a good time and found this to be a great value.

We enjoyed our stay at Mustang Island Beach Club. The staff is very friendly. I especially liked the game room next to the pool; my children and their friends were able to play out of the sun and take a rest from swimming while the adults grilled poolside. Our condo was nicely decorated and newly remodeled. The price was better than most larger complexes. We will be back soon!

We thoroughly enjoyed our trip and especially the accommodations. The condo had everything we desired and then some. All of the added touches by the owner, Michelle, made our trip just that much better! Everything from the birding and seashell books to the games and puzzles - we felt as if someone knew exactly what we would need. Seriously, the only thing missing was a camera (that I left at home- aagh), but all the extras made up for my lack of preparations.
We truly appreciate all of the generosity and such personal service. Hope to stay here again soon & bring my GOOD camera back! While in Port A, look for "Ferry & Fins" - it was created while staying here on this trip.

We loved being able to sit on the balcony in the morning with breakfast and watching the pelicans flying back to the Bay each evening. I especially enjoyed relaxing outside, after a long day of activities, just listening to the waves. The condo has all new amenities and everyting we needed for a great time.

Great views of the Gulf and bay - best in the complex. There is easy access to the boardwalk and beach. Private and comfortable. The pool and game room worked out well for the kids. Pet friendly. The condo is very comfortable with 2 plasma TVs. The kitchen and living room are great and full of extras. The deck is huge and has great sun-rise views. Covered parking and outside grills are big advantages also. Very nice all around.
