"Surf Shack" is a 1 bedroom 1 bath condo in the heart of Port Aransas. The spacious condo offers 2 full beds and sleeps 4. Sea Isle Village is a wonderful community complete with an oversized pool, sports court and 2 playground area for the kids. There is centrally located beach access. Mattresses were terrible, roaches in kitchen, place was not ready for use, needed towel racks, locks on door fixed, blind replaced, no broom, no wi-fi. All was fixed after called to management attention except wi-fi and broom.

The condo is in a very good location - easy walk down the path to the beach and a short drive to restaurants. The complex and the condo and its furnishings are old, tattered, stained and in need of repair. The beds are very springy and neither of the tv remotes worked. The condo seemed clean, but because of its condition, it was sort of hard to tell.

We always enjoy staying there and have been doing it for many years. I did rent the small unit for my son and it was full of roaches, and not very clean. We were really surprised and embarassed over it. Hope it is better next year.

EVERYTHING WAS GOOD, A FEW ANTS AND COUPLE OF ROACHES. LOVED THE AVAILABLE OF THE BEACH. POOL WAS FANTASTIC.

Did not like having to travel to Port Aransas Escapes office to sign lease agreement and then again to drop off keys at checkout. I liked it much better when the office at Sea Isle Village could handle all my needs including checkin and checkout.

the place was run down and in bad repair. garbage disposal broken and sink drained verry slowly. shower was in bad shape, leaky. Terrible thorny stickers surrounded the front door and were carried into house. TV had no remote and DVD player was broken (froze up halfway thru movie).

We took our kids in the middle of the week, great location, quite complex and COLD A/C. I'm freaked out about bed bugs and thankfully, this place was really clean (and bed bug free)!!! Unit 48 and 47 are separate from the rest of the condos, so that was really cool, too.

My stay at Sea Isle Village was two sons especially love the play area, the only con about this property was the lighting in the picnic area was not sufficient for late night cookouts. Enjoyed my stay...will return in the future.
