My wife and I really needed a weekend away, nothing stuffy or crowded...just peace, quiet and a little privacy (sometimes not easy to find)
When we got to the place the first thing that struck us was all the palms and various tropical flora surrounding a very secluded front yard with a nice little barbecue. Things were looking very good. The house itself is open, airy and really relaxing from the decor to the furniture. Lots of screens so yes, the ocean breeze put us to sleep every night...very nice. The best apple dumplings I have ever eaten in my entire life on earth are at Zama's Dangerous Kitchen, a great surf style breakfast place right around the corner. And Aransas is just fun - there really is a lot to do in and around the area and you will find most of it on the coffee table in the living room, we thought that was a particularly cool thing. Our entire stay was great, we want to go back - it was so much better than staying in any hotel down there it doesn't even compare. -

All the comfort is there. The bedrooms are all very large and well decorated.
We spent a gorgeous stay with friends.
Close to the beach on one side and shops on the other, I definitely recommend this place to anyone who likes spending a great time on a quiet island.
Paula and Ross welcomed us like princes.

Our family had a wonderul relaxing time and the accomadations fit us like a glove. Everything was perfect even though it got pretty Hot outside. We had a great day at the golf course as the people at the course we so nice and let us play an extra round!!!
