Jack's Sparrow sleeps 10 people, is pet friendly and has wireless internet. All four bedrooms are located upstairs. The master has a King bed and the other bedrooms have a queen, trundle bed with 2 twins and 2 fulls. The livingroom and kitchen are a great place for the whole family to gather. The kitchen is fully stocked to cook your catch of the day. There are BBQ grills by the community pool and a one car garage for you to use. It rained on Sat. night and there is no grass or stepping stones to get to the house from the driveway. Large stones or grass would of kept mud from tracking in the house as we were loading up the car to leave. Also maybe put a box fan in the closet for light sleepers. There was a wedding party that was load till 1:00am.

This home is located within walking distance of anything downtown- the grocery store, shops, the Jelm center, and the beach. The beds are comfortable. The living room chairs not so much. Otherwise everything was good. The property was well mantained,and all our requests were taken care of promptly.

This is the second Thanksgiving Holiday we have spent at Jack's Sparrow and we love it! This year there were six of us and we cooked dinner at the Condo and were very pleased with the kitchen supplies (well, the electric mixer needs replaced) but other than that it was great! The beds are so comfortable, I loved the kitchen, there is lots of room gather in the living room, the pool is fabulous (my personal favorite)and the beach is within walking distance. The town offers lots to do and the restaurants were wonderful; we didn't have a bad meal the whole time we were there! In the future, we would like to spend a month in Port Aransas! Thank you to Port Aransas Escapes and the town of Port Aransas for a great vacation!

My family usually stays at a different vacation spot,we tried this condo and love it so clean and spacious love the downstairs also and bedrooms upstairs just guest bathroom was small for us but parking is enough and garage space to love that the pool is right in back of the condo so I could monitor my daughters while I cooked breakfast and lunch and not for at all from souvier shops and resturants...we will so be booking for next yr.

Jack's Sparrow was everything we had hoped for. When selecting a place over the internet there is always a fear of it not meeting expectations once seen in person. This place did not disappoint and actually exceeded our expectations.
It has tons of space and could sleep up to 10, including one of the couch, very comfortably. The pool is right outside the back door and they even have a charcoal grill for this house alone.
If I was going to nitpick, I would say the grass needs to be grown in between the driveway and the front door to provide a little cleaner access. Also, stepping stones could be added in the gravel around the side and back. We also noticed several areas of ants on the outside that should probably be sprayed. Don't get me wrong, these are only suggestions to make the place perfect not deal breakers by any stretch.
Overall, I would HIGHLY recommend this place to anybody needing lodging in Port A. Guests should be aware that the beach access is about about two minutes away through a very easy drive. You can walk there by going straight down the front road towards the coast where you'll find a little walkway between two fences. However, the drive isn't bad since most people have all their stuff in the car anyway. A beach parking/driving permit is $12 for the current year.
Some recommendations for food. The marina has several great bar hang-outs and dining options. It's also a good spot for walking around or renting jet skis and parasail trips. We heard rave reviews about the La Playa Mexican restaurant but couldn't get in. However, we did eat at the Venetian Hot Plate which was very tasty. They're known for the lasagna but it was sold out by the time we ordered. Call ahead to reserve a your own serving which is what the table next to us did. -

We enjoyed that the downstairs had a large open floor plan. There were plenty of beds for 8 adults and 2 kids, but I wouldn't stay here with any larger of a group. The pool was nice and convenient!

Overall we had a nice stay in this rental. The property was clean and in a great location. The only problems we had were that 2 of the TV can only be used for DVD's and not enough living room sitting.

Loved the layout. It was very child and pet friendly. We had a great family vacation. However, I hope they get the plumbing in the Master bedroom working better. A plunger by the toilet is a bad sign.

Because this was a new house there was several problems that need to be ironed out. The main bedrooms bathroom toilet was backed up and at 2.00 am I had to unblock the toilet as it was overflowing. The a/c would not go below 76. We live in the hill country and a working A/C is a must. Also the kitchen electrical sockets wouldn't let you plug anything in it

We had the max number of guests and it slept everyone very comfortably! The little fenced in area around the house was nice for grilling out and the house was in a great location. It was also nice that all of the bed rooms were upstairs separate from the living area and kitchen. Would definitely stay here again!

Nice property with plenty of space for family and friends. The only thing that would have made this house better wiould be more outdoor space. It was a little far from the beach for walking with kiddos, but the drive was quick.

We stay with Jack Sparrow for Thanksgiving. This is a beautiful house in a great location. We were able to walk to the beach and to the restaurants. The house is brand new and sleeps our 9 easily. Looks much better inside than outside. PortAEscapes management were friendly and helpful. We can't wait to stay here again.

Our stay was great. The house was beautiful and relaxing. The clothes washer and dryer was a life saver. Also, no matter how loud the other guest from the other houses were at the pool; the noise never travled to the inside of the house, seemed to be very well insulated. I would recomend this place to anyone i hear going to Port Aransas. We loved it.
