Hudson, MassachusettsNice Home
Left on 01/07/2013 for a stay in December 2012
Stayed there over Christmas with my two young children. House was very nice /clean with all the amenities you would need. Very close to the beach (about two blocks) and if you want to go to Corpus it's a quick 30 minute ride. Had a great time...would love to go again.

The service was great. Everybody at Starkey Property from booking to check in/out were very helpful and one step ahead of us.
The home was beautiful and spacious. We had alot of people and kids there and you never got that crowded and cooped up feeling. There was alot of room outside as well. A nice deck upstairs. Downstairs we had plenty of parking, a picnic area to bar b que and a large yard to toss the ball around in.
The best part was being a block from the Beach, within walking distance but also right there in town for the shops, resturants and grocery store.
Overall Great experience - not one complaint!!! -

This property was nice, clean, well stocked, and had plenty of room for our large group. It has a nice open floor plan so that we never felt crowded.

This is the third year we've stayed at this property and it's great! Only one complaint: I wish they would swap a queen and twin bed out so you could sleep three families with kids comfortably.

This is the second time my family has come to Port A for Sand Fest and we have such a good time. This house was fantastic. There was plenty of room for all of us and we had such fun. We loved the foosball table and all the availbe seating. This trip was great. This house is about 3 blocks down Sandcastle Dr to the beach then about 6 blocks on the beach to the Sand Fest. Our family had a great time.

Left on 01/14/2010 for a stay in December 2009
The home was spacious and sparkling clean! The foosball table and card table hosted hours of fun for my sons! The enormous well equipped kitchen could feed an army and the homes size allowed all of us, (8 at one time,) to have the space we needed. It was a short walk to the beach and close enough to restaurants, shops and Mustang Island Park. A one day trip to see the USS Lexington in C.C. was awesome! The Starkey folks were a pleasure to deal with and are true professionals! This home really has it all! If only the fish had been biting...

This house was great!! I have stayed here before and i will stay here again. The kitchen is stocked, the layout is open and it was very clean. I only have two complaints, the whirlpool tub in the master didn't work and the stereo is a piece of garbage. After saying that,I would still definitely stay here again.

South East HoustonWonderful get away vacation house!
Left on 08/19/2009 for a stay in August 2009
I had been looking for a beach house for 4 of my friends and I to rent for a little 4 day summer get away for weeks and finally stopped looking once I found this property!! The pictures do not do it justice. There were a total of 7 of us staying here because after I booked it, 2 more people wanted to come, so I started thinking that we were going to be crammed into this tiny beach house...TOTALLY WRONG. This house is VERY spacious and well laid out. I am sure more could of came and we still would of be comfortable. The bunk beds look small, but they are really comfortable! They slept full grown adults too. It is a little walk to get to the beach, unless you are carrying a lot of stuff like we did, then you should drive to carry it down there. We had a nice bonfire on the beach too, and people we really nice. I wouldn't recommend families with small kids, or people that get offended easily to be out on the beach late like that because, like most beaches and stuff, there was drinking from college aged kids going on. The staff was great and very helpful and polite! We WILL be staying here again!! LOVED IT!

Austin, TexasCan't wait to go back.
Left on 11/13/2008 for a stay in October 2008
We rented this property through Starkey Properties.
It was almost perfect. Perfect would have been a view of the Gulf.
The house had plenty of room for the seven of us and could have easily held a few more. The open floorplan really helped. The foosball table was great.
Short walk to the beach, probably two and a half blocks. A golf cart, which is available for rental in town, would have been nice with a longer stay.
Very convenient to shopping and restaurants.
Will definitely keep in mind for next time.

Wonderful spacious home within walking distance to the Gulf of Mexico. We stayed here 3 months and became official Winter Texans for the first time. The house had all the amenities that you needed and if there was something extra they provided it for you. Our complaint was there was no mail delivery box so if your staying for an extended time frame you have to rent a PO box for 6 months. Also be careful during spring break time as the properties around this home can get quite loud. Other then that it was a great house and we hope to rent it again sometime in the future.

A quick three hour blast down the highway with a caravan of two- a minivan and a pickup truck- packed with kids and grandkids, led us to my childhood oasis of Port A. Yep, I've been coming here since I was a small child and the tradition has continued with our children, and now, our grandchildren.
We pulled up to the house and were stunned! It's a beaut!!! Parking underneath with a spot to rinse the rugrats.
We walked in and the Foosball table was immediately mobbed. The house lacked nada, tastefully appointed and fully stocked with the necessities that just needed the grub and libations.
Of course, my wife and I took the master suite, with one of those big tubs to soak in. The other sleeping arrangements were also superb, with two bunkbeds to house the rugrats- in their own room.
The open air layout of the kitchen, dining room and living area really suited our extended family living.
We played dominoes on a table large enough to groan under the feedings of our horde while the youngsters watched rassling.
This is our fourth Starkey property that we've stayed at, and folks, you can't go wrong with them. If something needs fixing, they hop right to.
We're planning our family reunion at Port A this year, family from all around the US, and we'll be staying in Starkey properties. -

This is the first time we've stayed in a vacation rental home with our kids and grandkids. It was big enough for all of us and very spacious. It was within walking distance of the beach and a great find for us. Although we were only able to stay 3 nights, we had a great time and will do it again when we have the opportunity.
