At Costa Del Ray Beach Lodge you will stay in a spacious two bedroom unit with queen beds and two bathrooms for privacy. There is a large living area and a full sized kitchen with enough space to seat six for dinner. Unit has a brand new central air system (spring 2010). Each unit has a private deck at the front entrance to relax in the evening or watch the sunrise in the morning. You can go fishing .With limited boat parking.There are outdoor showers to rinse off the sand from your visit to the beach. Service was great.Even had maintence guy show up to another unit and ask if we needed anything.The place was beautiful and beachy.Plenty room.Location was excellent for us but they were working on the road right in front of condos but they will be done when we go back.This is my second time stay at CDR and would go back again and again.I liked everything about staying there.The only thing I didnt like was there is no patio furniture or shade by the pool!

Enjoyed our month stay at Casa del Rey we rented unit# 2. The unit is comfortable, roomy and reasonably well equipped for a month long stay or more. It is about 3-4 blocks from the beach with easy access. Port aransas is a great little town for Winter Texans with tons of great places to dine and shop. Once the road work on 11th St is completed with the new sidewalks you will be able to stroll anywhere around town without any problem. I would recommend this rental to my friends

There was no kitchen table and only 4 bar stools at the bar. The beds were horrible -- hard & sounded like cardboard. Starkey was not even marginal at helping us, telling us it was the owner's responsibility. Starkey went straight to hold when we called -- we held for 15 minutes. They never answered. Hire more people if you're that busy. We will probably never rent thru Starkey's again, since this was not our first bad experience with them. We stayed 3 full weeks. They should have given us a better deal since we stayed that long

It was nice! Kitchen well stocked. Water pressure excellent and plenty of hot water. Bed was hard and squeaky..... Starkey staff was friendly.

The condo we had was nice and comfortable. We had 3 children with us and 4 adults. One of the children was six months old. We had all we needed in the cabin. I wish it had been closer to the beach, although it was within 2 blocks. There were no sheets for the pull out couch, but there were comforters and blankets we used. I have lost my phone charger, so if one was found, it could be mine. It is a motorola one. I would recommend this condo to someone else. Thanks

Nice, clean two bedroom condo. Would be nice to have a few more towels in the bathrooms so you don't have to wash them daily and the mattresses are getting a little worn.
Walking distance to the beach. Had a pool area but we did not use. Kids seemed to be having fun in it though. -

The condo itself was very nice and clean. We were surprised to see that our
two queen beds were indeed full size beds, a minor adjustment but
something we could live with. When bed time rolled around we would have
Been much better off sleeping on a hardwood floor not mention the slightest
movement caused an unbearable sqeaking noise. If you weren't already
awake from miscomfort you would surely be kept awake all night from the
noise. Invest is some higher quality beds or an egg crate and you've got a
pretty pleasant place to stay.
