The home is surrounded by Florida native nature and invites you to relax. Each window of the home provides you with a view of Florida unspoiled natural beauty and tranquility.

The home is tiled in living areas, hallway, and bathrooms. The carpets in the bedrooms are of high quality and had been newly installed in 2012.

Only minutes to Boca Grande beaches, Dining, Art, Entertainment, Shopping, State parks, Marinas, Biking Trails, and Golf Courses, all wi...thin minutes of driving time. A little sanctuary, located in the deed restricted community of South Gulf Cove, Port Charlotte Florida.

The split plan home offers a spacious master bedroom with a pillow top king size bed, an adjacent walk-in closet, and a master bathroom with two sinks, towel closet, and a walk-in shower with grab bars. On the opposite site of the home are two guest bedrooms, each with twin size Elegant Dreams Pillow top mattress, and a bathroom with towel closet, a combination tub and shower, and a sink.

The home is furnished in tranquil beachy colors (mostly yellow, green, blue, sand, white color shades) and lovely beachy/vintage style furnishings.

A spacious living and dining area and a fully equipped kitchen awaits you.

There is also a separate utility room with a newer large capacity elite washer and dryer (even comforters fit in these machines).

Your very private and fully screened porch has a ceiling fan and an outdoor dining area, overlooking Floridaā€™s beautiful nature.

The home sleeps 4 (3 bedrooms: one large bedroom with king size bed, and two single bedrooms with twin/single size bed).

South Gulf Cove is a deed-restricted community in Charlotte County located east of State Road 771 (Gasparilla Road) between the Butterford Waterway on the north and Santa Cruz Waterway on the south. South Gulf Cove has many waterways, and a total of approximately 6,200 acres.

Within minutes from this tropical paradise are beautiful beaches, biking trails, dining, entertainment, fishing, golfing, kayaking, marinas, paddle boating, parks, and shopping.

Visit historic Placida Fishing Village with Artist stores/cottages, a little museum, boat charters, old fish house, seafood store, and a restaurant. Enjoy events, e.g. the Placida Arts & Crafts Market.

Fishing is very popular. There are many places and different types of fishing nearby, even an old railroad trestle, the Placida Rotary Centennial Park Pier. There are an abundance of fishing waters and two local fishing piers.

Depending on the time of year/season for example: Mackerel, Pompano, Redfish, Seatrout, Sheepshead, Snapper, Snook, Southern Kingfish, Striped Mullet, Tarpon, Trout, etc. Fishing licenses can be purchased locally, with rod hire and bait.

The area is rich in beautiful birds ā€“ you may even spot a bald eagle. Native birds such as herons, egrets, ospreys, and pelicans are seen quite often. During the winter months, the area is home to many shorebirds such as snowy plovers and skimmers.

Housebroken pets are very welcome in our home and we will provide a brand new pet bed cushion, one set of new bowls for food and water, and 1 new welcome toy free of charge. Optional would be a pet pool (starting at $85).

  We were looking for a house on the water to rent for family. Although we live in Venice, our family from St. Louis wanted to be close to the water and Boca Grande (the lovely island community off the beaten path,) This house was just over the bridge from Boca Grande, in a lovely canal community that was "rural real Florida," yet close to everything. This house was extremely clean, which was important to us for our family. The owners are very helpful and eager to tell you about their little piece of paradise. It has a lovely lanai and feels secluded (you don't see your neighbors), although you are just around the corner from a park, the road to Port Charlotte and Boca Grande, a Marina, etc. It truly gives you the "feel" of real Florida as the canal community has a large lagoon where you can watch many indigenous waterfowl, etc. biking is fabulous around the community (it's flat Florida, so easy to bike!) ... and you can always just bike or ride down the road to the quaint outdoor dining at the Gasparilla Marina or go over the bridge to cute Florida town of Boca Grande where there are beautiful beaches and lovely shops and restaurants. It was perfect to give our family a feel for the beauty of southwest Florida.
