Excellent location with only a short walk to the Four Mile Beach. We couldn't have been more pleased with that house.
We had a wonderful stay and loved the location. It was the perfect place for an interresting, exciting and yet relaxing holiday.
We could not have been happier with that choice of the Tempat Kupu Kupu.
The house is maintained to a very high standard and has everything you could possibly want.
Fantastic, lovely place with a wonderful pool, lots of extras.
We recommend it highly and we would stay there again for sure.

We stayed at Tempat Kupu Kupu for a week and thoroughly enjoyed the peaceful environment and pool. Four Mile beach is just a short stroll about 150 m along Coral Drive and Port Douglas a short drive/bus journey away. We had everything we needed to make our holiday a special retreat and the house is perfect for the tropical environment in North Queensland. We will definitely go back there if we are in that area again.

Have stayed here 2 years running and intend to return in the latter part of this year. The house is in a quiet location a stones throw from four mile beach(sun sets are fantastic),(early morning strolls wern't bad either). The pool and the covered patio area was a Godsend on those hot hot hot days ( the house was cool enough that we rarely had the need to use the aircon). Was a bit nervous on our second visit, i was worried that we had been so impressed the first time that it wouldn't live up to our expectations again. Actually the second time was better. Both times we have visited the house was spotlessly clean, stayed as stylish and very comfortable. Port Douglas is close enough to enjoy on a daily basis - cane toad racing at one of the pubs was hilarious. A lovely marina where we spent a lot of time just watching the world go by. We took the opportunity to do as many excursions as we could - the Low Isles, Great Barrier Reef, rain forests etc... Can't wait to be back at the end of the year.

I stayed in this great house in Sept 2010 and especially loved the backyard and pool - a private and spacious oasis. We were a small group friends catching up after years apart and the house set up was perfect for us. Great open plan kitchen and living space. Lovely bedrooms with comfy beds. The house was clean, well set up and had a tasteful decor with some lovely personal touches. The easy 5 minute walk to the quiet end of 4 mile beach was also a highlight and "sundowners" sitting on the sand watching the day fade over the Coral Sea, was the perfect way to spend the end of each day.
