Imagine picking bananas from your garden for breakfast or strolling down to a nearby luxury hotel overlooking the palms and white sand beach... Fauvelle on the Island of Bequia has all the luxuries you need for a peaceful Caribbean break. Two swimming pools, a private walled garden, shady decks with uninterrupted views to Spring Beach, only a few minutes walk away. Fauvelle can sleep up to ten adults in five separate rooms each with en suite facilities.
It is cooled by the trade winds and does not need air conditioning. Ceiling and floor fans are provided.

The Island of Bequia (beckway), part of St Vincent and the Grenadines, is less than an hour by air from Barbados. Spring Estate is on the windward side of the Island of Bequia, less than thirty minutes from the local airport and ten minutes from the ferry dock.
Spring Estate was a Sugar Plantation and is now private development of luxury villas. It is situated on the windward side of the Island and is continually cooled by the Trade Winds.

We stayed at Fauvelle last June and found it to be a perfect holiday retreat. It's located in Spring Bay, which is the quieter, less populated side of the island where many expats live. It is a 20-30 minute leisurely walk from the house to the harbor. The harbor is the "downtown" area of Bequia, though "town" is a bit of a stretch on this adorable, quaint island of just a few roads!
The best part of the experience at Fauvelle is relaxing on the front porch and enjoying the view over Spring Bay and the neighboring coconut plantation. It's absolutely stunning and so peaceful. There's always a breeze, too, so we spent a lot of time lazing about and reading on the front porch or swimming in the house pool.
Though just two of us stayed in the master bedroom on this trip, it's a big house meant for entertaining and we'd love to return with two other couples. The downstairs area even has its own entrance and another pool!
We would definitely stay here again, and would recommend it to anyone.
