Great location for a fish camp. The pictures in your ad dont do justice to the location. We were very surprised to see the channel was just across the street. Boat launching was very easy. That said, we will avoid POC on the big holidays. The number of people was far to great for the limited services available.
The house was adequate. Some things that were missing: a cutting board, usable knives, some pots and pans that were not scratched up teflon, and a shower door that stayed closed. Limited restaurants means most are eating out of kitchen I have a hard time understanding carpet in kitchen and bathrooms. Parking in front was occupied through the whole weekend. Car never moved. That should have been a very easy place for us to park...In short if you are just fishing and the town is not too full to eat at restaurants this rental will be great for you.Response from Tigrett Vacation Rentals - 07/12/2012

Thank you for the thorough review. It does get a bit crowded in POC during the big events. We are finding more and more are opting for off-season times in order to fully enjoy the POC experience. We hope you'll join us again any time of the year.

Positive - location, location, location
Negative - Dead roaches everywhere, roach droppings in utensil drawer in kitchen, mold in shower, very musty smell. Will not be staying at this location again.

We're sorry you feel you didn't have a good stay at Burnet Trailer. We can attest that the owners regularly spray for insects and take great care of the home (they live just across the street). The "mold" in the shower is actually stains, not mold. However, we can understand why it looked strange. The owners have since repainted the shower.
We do hope you'll consider this property for what it is: a comfortable and very convenient rental near the boat launch. We know it's not upscale, but it is thoroughly cleaned after each rental. -

The a/C unit didnt seem to get very cool. The location was great, easy to put your boat in and get it out.
